Sorry to say, but there is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley. The Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche High Scenic Trail offers vastly better views, lots of wildlife and hardly any trekkers. Tengboche can be visited on the way down. It is amazing most trekkers miss this more adventurous option and just hike the same highway twice.
