There is SO much in Real Estate to Talk about. My Mom and Sister would talk about it endlessly. I usually didn't understand. When you talked about it, I did understand. I guess you have a gift. I can see where this is going. It seems to be the bane of each content creator when they feel they are being trapped into certain topics by their viewers and feel obligated to make what "The Viewers" want instead of stayng true to themselves, making what THEY want and risking losing some viewers. That is the risk and of course the people who come for the creator as well as the content stick around. I came to say that I appreciate that you and your videos have helped me and your book is still helping me. I want to go find the comment where we talked but the long and short of it is that I will be getting a $30K reduction on my Property Value for Tax purposes. I guess that sounds crazy to be happy about, but the way taxes have been lately, it's a boon. The assessor said I could fix the place up to add value to it and I thought, "yeah, and it will be easier to do that if I'm not shelling out dollars in taxes for a house that wouldn't sell for that much, eh?" Ha.. Now all I have to do is follow your instructions in your videos and book to set that value for the next 2-3 years. The PT-306C came in the mail today and my continuation letter went into the mailbox this evening. I'll let you know how it turns out. Meanwhile, Enjoy your hiatus, take some time to relax and refocus on yourself, and I will keep my notifications on. I look forward to learning more about real estate from you. Metqa, thank you so much for your well-written comment. It is very moving. Sometimes as a content creator, you work blindly. I have numbers and statistics but don't get many comments compared to the number of views I get. Let me assure you that I am not running away from real estate as a topic. I am evolving and allowing other topics to come into the channel. If you have any requests, I welcome suggestions. I am still monitoring comments and taking care of things. I hope to share what I am doing when I am ready. I want to congratulate you for achievement of reducing the value $30K. Was it not worth the small amount of time and effort? I think it was. It isn't so bad, was it? As far as your tax freeze goes, you got this. It is simple once you get your PT-306C. You may yet get another reduction to settle the appeal without the BOE hearing.
I personally think there is nothing wrong with this channel. You are an honest dude.Hope you might make a few videos in future about certain topics that interest you. I understand real estate is a sort of niche market. The type of videos I make only appeal to a niche market also. 2.3k or so subscribers is ok. And some of your videos had a lot of views.

GA tax appeals is one of those projects that really don't get you a lot of views and pretty small in the grand scale of RUclips. But it is something of a passion project to educate others mainly because I feel property owners are being taken advantaged of. I will likely maintain periodic updates on GA tax appeals as warranted.
