Got these thinking they were the slightly larger Panfish floats ruclips.net/user/postUgkx_rJB7cli5f1ofPVGgn80S7Yj4vqwq0gU they work just fine. The smaller size lets me carry more in my tackle box, and the 3 color choices are nice for different lighting conditions, backgrounds, etc. They aren't the most durable things in the world. But, as cheap as they are, it's not heartbreaking to lose one or have to replace a worn one. The price on these fluctuates wildly, from about $9 to almost $16. So, time your buy accordingly.
back winding the reel down your swim , now there's a dead art if there ever was, brilliant to hear it again after all these years, use to take all the grease out off my Mitchell match's to make the reel turn backwards even easier, use a heavy float and the thing would turn on its own .sounded like a concrete mixer, but worked.lol thanks again James for a brilliant and technical video
won my first match off this peg in a winter league match around 1989, it was rising fast and I caught 1lb 7oz on the stick down the edge, cuttle brook was and still is brilliant, another great vid as well
won my first match from (i think) this peg, over 25 years ago,it was carrying water then,it was a w/league match and i weighed a massive 1lb 7oz! another top vid james, thanks for the memories
Probably about the last time I fished there as well! I remember fishing an intermediate national in about 1992 and caught 13lb of roach. Would love to fish some matches again on the upper Trent!
back winding a reel is just asking for HUGE bird nest tangles.... them close face reels are the best ,the line drags out of them just right for trotting . . . .lovely looking swim... id be tempted to try a bomb or very small feeder bolted on the bottom with a bigger hookbait say cheese or meat to catch that big chub thats lurking ..(yes i know its a float vid).... nice one
Brillian on peg 31 I caught 62lb of fish with 36lb of roach this was a under16 match for the intermediate cup I finished 2 nd but them tactics are exactly what I used
ive lost £7 in caep wagglers in two days they now make them so if you dont glue them on they come off gutted i had £15 to spend in tackle shop and i spent £35 overdraft and have lost £10 including bait lol

hi there, I've enjoyed watching your videos and was wondering where I could get a box like yours. any ideas? thanks

You keep your tip high and taught in the air and sit and stare at it. I'll run a stick through with a pint of reds 👍
good like to see more stick float techniques on youtube
what hook would you use for big chub on stick and maggot
Why would you have so many number 8s together as bulk rather than 1 larger shot
More versatile
good stuff, thanks
why have like 20 shots when you can replace it with less shots of bigger weight ?
***** He mentioned that they give more presentation options i.e. rig variations when changing their position.
Bigger shot is less streamlined and will be taken by the current making the float move faster.
They are the new Superteam rods that will be launched in September - 13 and 15ft
