Did you find that the new battery performed well? I clearly remember the batteries used to last for days if reading. I replaced the battery in mine and cant seem to get more than a few hours. How has your battery performed?

This is what my kindle, exact same model, looks like. But I’m having a hard time finding a charging cable since I lost the OG. Its not just a microUSB as I recall it. It doesn’t seem to fit good enough. Do you know where to find the cable? Thanks!!
So difficult to find a Micro-A USB cable or charger. Listings on Amazon state the cable is for Kindle D00901 but the photos show a Micro-B USB! None state Micro-A in specs.

After a year, how is your new battery holding up? There are a few reviews on Amazon where the batteries aren't holding their charge.
