I agree on everything besides him being the good guy. He was avenging former officials of the government that tried to have him killed because he was basically a h1tman back in the day. He waited and trained all this time to finally get his revenge but eventually he as you said gets jumped and that's the end of that.

I grew up watching these movies as a kid back in the late 80s . I'm 43 years old now but I still miss that era.
I was just thinking the same thing am the same age aswell I even went out to fight my friends the same way and make the sound effects 😂
Watching Kung Fu and Black Belt Theater in the 80s was a legendary and magical time to be a child. Plus Godzilla, Gamera and anime before it became mainstream. Yeah, the 80s were something special.

I found a video game called Shaolin vs Wutang. It's like someone made a fighting game with a bunch of kung fu movie characters. Ghost face killer was one of them.
