Progressive christianity makes "you" feel good about yourself even divine, True word of God from the Bible makes you humble and righteous because God is divine
_Paul brought progressive Christianity, and he proclaims to be the blind leader of the blind._ _Paul taught his followers in_ 2 Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, *not by sight:)* _For those that have eyes to see in 2 Cor 5:7 Paul writes the inclusive word _*_“we”_*_ which includes himself as a _*_“not by sight”_*_ leader._ _And Paul taught his followers to be blind (not by sight) followers._ _Thus by Paul's own writings he is a blind leader of the blind._
"True word of God from the Bible makes you humble and righteous because God is divine" Ironic, because I find most people who claim that are blowhards who attribute being humble and righteous to being unquestionable and unapproachable. Because god. What about god's word makes you either humble or righteous?

To be fair, it depends on how one defines Progressive. Is salvation, grace, and the Cross progressive from religious legalism? Are we saved by Faith in Christ on the Cross or is behavior and lifestyle change required for Salvation. I do not like the term "progressive", but I believe the term emerged initially with good intentions and like many things it has been perverted to Sin acceptance.

Short and informative. Thank you. It is alarming to see how many churches are heading this way. People just rebel against authority and create something that makes them comfortable. Let’s face it, scripture can make us very uncomfortable with our sin. As it should.

@@ianalan4367Jesus was a Jew. He was born of a Jewish mother, in Galilee, a Jewish part of the world. All of his friends, associates, colleagues, disciples, all of them were Jews. He went on pilgrimage to the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem where he was under the authority of priests.... He was born, lived, died, taught as a Jew. You don't have to "add" or "substact" anything to give it a different meaning. Nothing is changed in Memento movie when you watch it the second time but after seeing the end of it, you can never unsee it again and the entire movie when watched again is completely different, yet the same. Revelation, Apocalypse - it all means the same: to unhide something that was hidden. Once you do that, then everything will change, yet it will be the same: just two people looking at the same thing but seeing different things. Yet, internally, what this process of "plot twist" do to you is completely destroy you to tiny pieces and rebuilds you - you become unknown to your surrounding and the best you can do is be quiet because when you open your mouth and speak the truth you've learned, it's like a roar of the lion everyone wants to run away from, since it would, also, destroy them to little pieces and they'd have to rebuild themselves. Like when you speak to flatearthers and speak the truth, show them evidence and they're left with: "my life's based on a lie and everything I know is wrong" or "f*** this assh*le and his BS, he's just part of conspiracy and I'm out of here". @@TheBarser The Bible says the evidence is all around - in nature/gravity, creation, and I would argue the impossibility - not improbability - that any of this, or even you, could have formed without intelligent design. It is a statistical impossibility that even a 150-amino acid chain compromising just one of four life-sustaining hemoglobin subunits could have bonded in the specific order they have to function. Just one of four subunits. Consider that the alteration causing sickle cell anemia , a devastating change in shape to the cell resulting in pain and premature death, is from just ONE substitution at the seventh location in subunit B. Now consider the multitude of varied cells with their imperative functions that all had to form, at the same time and in their specific order, for you to have life. Much of that I learned in my RN education. None of that is not possible without God. The Bible says in Colossians 1:16-17 “For by Him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in Earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by Him, and for Him. He is before all things, and by Him all things consist (held together).” The Bible also says in Romans 1:19-20, “Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them (men); for God hath shewed it into them. For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, so they are without excuse”. You are absolutely correct in this assessment. I have witnessed all three of the factors you mention. Those factors are a big problem among Progressive Christians. I have a former colleague (and most likely now a former friend) who has embraced many radically-leftist views. When we taught together at a conservative Christian school, she seemed to be a tad on the liberal side, but I was never really worried about her. She seemed mostly solid spiritually and she was someone I was glad to work and talk with. I really liked her and considered her a friend for years. That was 16 years ago. Since then, she has become a leader for a SJW group in her community. Her SJW group totally embraces the cult of "wokeism." As part of that process, she routinely berates conservative Christians who advocate traditional views of marriage and sexuality. She boldly chastises those who are critical of the Trans Movement. She routinely defends groups such as ANTIFA, and has praised the Marxist group that (in her words) "protected" her SJW group at one of their protests. For at least 10 years now, I have often thought that there were few or no differences between her FB posts and those of an atheist I know who actively and virulently hates religion in general and Christianity in particular. Though I think it is still a low probability, I am honestly a little afraid she is capable of becoming violent for her leftist causes. I finally severed all ties with her for both of our sakes. We simply had no common ground for any type of discussion or even a friendship any more. I would not trust her with the instruction of students. All that was left were angry arguments. She makes me sad, and I pray for her.

This past week I was asking God what He wanted from me. Within a few nights I literally heard actual real Angels singing about testifying His Name. All of Heaven sings about the name of Jesus. Jesus lived a perfect life and never sinned. Those who know the Bible know how impossible it is to follow all of it without making a mistake. Jesus was able to follow all of the Bible fully without ever making one mistake. He was able to do that because He is the very essence of God. God is the hero of this story. He showed all of creation that only His Nature can overcome all sin and death. Even without all His power and Glory, Jesus who is God overcame all sin. He rose from the dead and revealed Himself to people including me. I have seen Jesus and when I called on His Name He answered. Because He answered I will make myself a fool for Him. I don’t care what anyone thinks of me because Jesus is real and when I was in His presence I was blown away by His Love and Majesty. Those who don’t know Jesus do not know Life. Jesus is Life and only in Him are we made whole and complete. Only in Him do we find forgiveness of sin. God answered my prayer when I asked Him what He wanted me to do. He sent Angels singing to testify His Name. He wants me to testify. Hope this testimony encouraged you 🙏 🐑

Can't say I was ever progressive, but there was a journey, coming to grips that the Bible is the word of God. I thought it was 98% true, but let enough a gap to let all religions be true. Looking back, I can see that truth was chipping away at my original approach. I had to readjust my focus, but I was never progressive, if that makes sense
How can you be certain that Christianity is true and all other religions in the world are false? Google tells me there's some 4300 total religions in the world. Have you studied the teachings of all of them?
You don't need to study many religions but many have done it and came to the conclusion that Jesus is the Truth. Christianity changed the world and brought the most progress to humanity and the Bible is the most important work of literature in human history.
Tim keller had a book on romans that helped me in Gods sovereignty on salvation (not faith in my faith but faith in the work of Jesus that is unchanging)..... But now I believe he is slowly opening the door to progressive Christianity as he seeks to look at the issue of racism/social justice in a worldly way while pretending to be biblical about it... He himself is slipping into the very things he warned of. Anyway great points and truly we must watch our doctrine.
Some of my favorite quotes here: "Letting go of historical doctrines is addictive… Once a person makes their own thoughts, feelings, and opinions the authoritative source for truth, their spirituality is going to reflect what they prefer rather than what is necessarily true… If you pick and choose what you want to believe, how will you ever have a God that can contradict you? [You instead] have a god of your own making."
To the person who replied and stated “Christianity is a cult” I retort, “I am not surprised by what any unbeliever without hope for eternity in the only way to be accepted by God would say in their scoffing.”
3:15 that is an interesting form of morality, and thats the only way I can see secular morality working, as that is extremely relative and subjective. I really prefer an objective form of morality however, since that is closer to reality.
@@JamesRichardWiley Have you ever wondered where that golden rule comes from? Or... Do you already know? Its not like that concept was lifted from somewhere else, the orgin of "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is in Mathew 7:12. You condradict yourself.
How so? Both the theist and the atheist first pick their standard and from that morality comes. It's just that the theist picks God's word as the standard and the atheist mostly pick something like 'human wellbeing' or so. Given the weird and terrrible stuff from in the former, I'd rather pick the latter.
@@Zeus-bn3nc Well the theist has an unchanging, and non-contradictive standard of morality. If there's a moral grey area we have texts to turn to, so that we can see what is morrally correct, objectively. To an atheist, its the whims of their own feelings, whatever "feels" moral, which is subject to much weirder, and much more terrible stuff than theism. There's no text backing it, so atheists have no real reason to remain consistent.
@@Yipper64 Morality for the atheist needs an axiomatic goal; everything else follows from that. It's not on a whim or what feels good. Morality for the theist needs an axiomatic goal too; usually that is to follow scriptural morality, whether that is God's word or not. The only thing you can change is the axiomatic goal, but you always need that. So you can never say one's morality is objective, truly. It is only ever objective within the chosen framework of the goal.
@@Zeus-bn3nc Ok, so how can a goal be axiomatic, who says when a goal is self-evident, or unquestionable? Because if that goal is given by a person, it is certainly questionable. Why would any person not be questionable? God is unquestionable, and so having goals that alighn with God are the only truly axomatic goals.
“Don’t mold the world to fit the Bible, mold the Bible to fit the world” In other words… don’t try to cram reality into the Bible.. you must cram the Bible into reality.
That’s not exactly the idea. The Bible is a lens in which we view the world through. So when something happens in the world you need to have the Bible as a foundation, not the current political or socioeconomic view. As always with things like this, it comes down to the question of what do you say about the man called Jesus?
It more like “submit to Gods Word as the authority and ultimate truth, not the world”. So we all got to backtrack to Catholicism. We have been progressing for over 2000 years and this is what it has brought us to. 3:25 onwards actually explains what happens when man without authority tries to reinterpret scripture throughout the ages and drift away from the teachings and traditions of the early Christians.
Different with the Catholics. They did not carry on tradition, they ADDED it. Then throughout the years they kept adding more and more and more "tradition" till Christ was not there anymore and most Catholics don't even know scripture, they just follow church orders.
@@bairfreedom This is consistent fallacy that most people don't understand and is constantly propagated out of ignorance because the hate is so bad that people won't even try to get to know more about what the Catholic faith teaches. Christ is the centre of everything. Everything is to get closer to Christ. The most important thing is the Eucharist, the breaking of bread and wine to do it in memory of him. Marian intercession is also to take us closer to Christ. The life of the saints are reflected upon to help us emulate some of what they did or practiced to be more Christ like in human form. Even with different opinions the tenants of the universal church were agreed by reflecting on scripture doing what present secular and biblical scholars have done to investigate the accuracy of the gospels and scripture, the unwritten tradition belived and practiced by people passed through the 200 years at the council of nicea and later practiced it in both Eastern and western catholic churches with subtle differences being in the rite of mass. So what was set in stone then, is still consistent to this day.
@@bairfreedom Also with respect to not knowing scripture, that is false as well. There are Catholics well versed with scripture, however there are also Catholics who are not. @AMM777 incorrect. There are transitional forms, or at least, creatures whose fossils show an evolutionary link between, say, dinosaurs and birds. The Archaeopteryx and the Pedopenna show that the evolutionary link between dinosaurs and birds is a well supported claim. However, that doesn't mean there should thousands of transitional forms. Not every living mammal is connected to every other one. It's in an interconnected web. Also, the laws of science break down when we go from the macroscopic to the microscopic. Conservation of mass and energy, two of the most fundamental laws of physics, are broken when we measure the masses of a radioactive nucleus and it's daughter nuclei. Classical physics fails at the singularity because it's just that small. That doesn't mean a creator is necessary. We don't know whether it was a sentient creator or not. I'm open to the possibility of one, but that doesn't mean I'm going to live my life based on conjecture. And you actually don't think evolution is true? The principles of natural selection? There's proof of evolution everywhere. The new coronavirus variants that plague India. The fact that insects developed thicker shells and more resistant nerve cells when DDT was used on them. The muscle plamaris Longus that's absent in 14 percent of the human population. The weird thing some people can do by wiggling their ears. They're all things that were necessary for our ancestors, but not for us. Furthermore, let's assume an omnipotent god actually did create us. Why did he give us an appendix, or wisdom teeth? For fun? I'm dubious as to your claims about Lucy and the other evidence, so I'll research them. But dude, evolution is real.

However, your claim that they reconstructed Lucy based on a tooth is incredibly incorrect. They had multiple bones from across the body. Also, your claim of fossils of a man with arthritis being used as scientific proof are also wholly incorrect. I've tried looking for it, but all I've seen are 50,000 and 45,000 year old fossils found in France in 1909 and 1908. One of them was an elderly male, yes, but a neanderthal nonetheless. What other so called evidence do you have against evolution?

"...once a person makes their own thoughts, feelings and opinions the authoritative source for truth, their spirituality is going to reflect what they prefer, rather than what is necessarily true. And the farther the Christian walks down this path, the farther they get from a genuine relationship with the one, true God" Basically the best argument against protestantism and for Catholicism.
Popes are people too, and thru the ages they have made their own thought, feelings and opinions the authoritative source for truth, and their spiritually reflects what they preferred, rather than staying with what the Apostles taught. False Protestantism is following in the footsteps of the pattern of the RCC. The great harlot and her daughters are of the same kind of cult. People are taught wrong then insist that they are right, what irony. They are well learned in their "religion" but do not rightly understand the bible, the source of truth, given by the Holy Spirit in the very beginning. The church was "Catholic" in the very beginning, but became Roman Catholic, when it started to mesh with the world system and today it is more political than spiritual. It will not be long before she shows her true colors as this Pope continues to conform to the ways of worldly culture, already becoming friendly with the abominable practices of the world. Open your eyes, Babylon the Great is falling! Check out a traditionally Roman Catholic site called "Church Militant" and see what they are exposing about what is happening in the RCC of today. Don't pick on Protestants until you clean up your own house! Like the Lord Jesus says, take the board out of your own eye, then you can take the speck out of the eye of someone else.

The Bible isn't perfect, due to translation issues. But, it's still an essential witness of God's dealings with us, His children, and most important its narrative for the need of a Messiah, manifested in the account in the NT of Christ teachings, atonement, and resurrection. Post Christians who dismiss the divinity of Christ's teachings because they have issues understanding the rest of the Bible in my view are making a rationalization to live according to the world's easy morality than God's. Another thing to keep in mind, while this world we live in is real, its not the reality that God has in store of us. We originally came from a paradise, in His presence, the garden of Eden. This fallen world we now reside, is a temporary reality.
No, the bible is the perfect everlasting word of God, the translation is sometimes not perfect, it's wrong to say " the bible isn't perfect", it's God's word, and God doesn't have flaws
@@joshkenedy8828 Which Bible then? There are hundreds, if not thousands of versions. They all cannot be error free, as translation from ancient Hebrew and Greek, in our English vernacular. For example, the commandment "Thou shall not Kill" is mistranslated. It should be "Murder", not kill. Otherwise Christians are breaking the law of God when fighting as soldiers in war, or self-defense.
@@blank557 I said the actual God's word is flawless, the people who tried to translate it weren't, your saying otherwise, that's wickedness, and evil, and most bibles are accurate to the original manuscripts

Even Frank Turek is a progressive Christian He does not believe in a six-day creation. He said in a video I watched on his channel that he did not know how long ago the dinosaurs lived.
Anyone can have a rebellious kid, but is it really that surprising in light of how insanely liberal his father became? Following the progression from Carpe Diem to the present he's already only 1 step away from secular himself.
Or maybe that question really has merit. I think questions should be encouraged. Glorification of ignorance, gullibility and blind obedience cannot lead to good things.
Very well put! Bottom line is, do you believe in the God of the bible exclusively or not? If you say that you believe, you cannot divide the Word of God and God himself, for the Word comes from the Holy Spirit. If you say not, then you are calling the Holy Spirit a liar, the deadly sin. We may not understand some things in the Word but we at least must take the stance that the bible is the Word of God, for in it God testifies of Himself. Also, as Christians we must have a rule of law to guide our lives and our worldview to be pleasing to God. We may not always be living up to the truth of scripture, but we must at least attest to the truth of it. This is package deal, and either someone is all in, or not in at all. Worst that an atheist, is the false "Christian", because denial of God is one thing, but to twist the scripture is worse, because it misleads other people away from true faith, by redefining the faith. Jesus said it would be worse for those who knew the truth, but did not obey, than those who did not know of it. This is very dangerous business, so do not presume that you are a Christian, until you rightly understand the faith and are willing to accept the whole truth of it. Truth is not progressive, that is what defines it as "Truth". Progressive truth is only relative truth, so it is subject to change, but God is forever true, people are liars and deceivers, because of our sinful nature. Jeremiah 17:9, don't ever forget this verse, nor Romans 3:23, for they are the absolute truth about us all and has been so, since the fall in the garden, and that is the real problem, Satan's lies still persist.
Problem of Evil... God's dealing with evil, but his Love & Goodness is allowing humanity chance to come to Salvation in a better way than just condemnation of their evil.
God does not "deal" with evil. He created evil. It says so in Isaiah 45:7 ►King James Bible "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
Even though I feel that it's wrong for Christians to constantly bash and shame sinners (it's more of an approach, there's loving ways to tell people they should consider and repent), especially those who commit sins that they aren't tempted by, about those who outright say those aren't sins, you're right about them, they do undermine the authority of the Bible.
I like that comment " its not progressive its regressive" then she took it back to the beginning with first words of doubt. Everything can be traced back to the Garden.
The problem is that actual Biblical doctrine is deeply nuanced and it simply does not do to leave it squarely in the hands of the fundamentalists and puritans. The Bible is God's words spoken through Man and at times directly by God and recorded as such. We do not have to fear textual variants and possible mistakes in the minor secondary details as was deemed appropriate by the culture of oral traditions at the time. Nevertheless we can hold that the Bible is at all times profitable to teach and to correct. I don't have to be a Calvinistic determinist to believe that God is sourvereign. And yes - orthodox Christians disagree on many things even deemed within the scope of orthodoxy. I had to completely deconstruct from the faith of my parents for my own faith in Jesus as the son of God who died for the sins of the world to survive. I remain convinced by the arguments for God's existence and the historical facts surrounding the resurrection. If God / the Bible clearly teaches that a single monogamous life long relationship between two people of the same gender is wrong I would happily walk away from the idea and tell others to do the same. I just can't find anywhere that it does - and I hold the Bible in the same high regard I believe as other orthodox Christians.
@@theoskeptomai2535 for me it is a cumulative case which eventually tip the odds in God's favor. There are ultimately only two reason not to believe that I consider good ones. 1. The problem of evil / gratuitous suffering of conscious beings. 2. The problem of the hiddenness of God. On the contrary I find all the traditional philosophical arguments for the existence of God very compelling. I even think the ontological argument should get more love than it does. Also I have had a number of serendipitous experiences that were so unlikely at the time that I an compelled to call them answers to prayer. I have narcissistic tendencies and so I would happily "rape and pillage" if there was no God and for the life of me I cannot accept the atheist answers to the moral argument. I understand to the core of my being that, in the words of the preacher, everything under the sun is vanity and so I do acknowledge that at least the foundation for my reasoning is psychological i.e. in the absence of God I see no meaning to life and subjective meaning is not enough to uphold me. And I am happy to call B.S. on Sam Harris's foundation for ethics. Finally - despite all the criticisms of the Bible I find it the most honest and accurate description of the human condition and I am happy to tell any and everyone that the Bible has and still serves as the foundation of western ethics. I find the person of Jesus so compelling that I have given him my heart even though I have never met him and don't have cartesian certainty over whether or not he exists. The fact that I might get to meet him one day fills me with such joy that I am willing to stake my life on the archetypal idea of his existence. Outside of him I see no reason to do anything. That was a mouth full :-). I can probably write a book on each point.
Good synopsis. Following Christ has been counter-cultural since the countenance of Cain fell and he murdered Able. Moses's people had a series of trials and failures, being tempted as they were by other cultures as they wandered, or as they pinned for the security (even in slavery) and the leeks, onions and flesh pots of Egypt. The history of the world is the history of that specific problem. And if you're questioning whether the Bible is a true historical account, then go and watch the many videos that Francois du Plessis has made for Amazing Discoveries Africa. There is MUCH being discovered in archeology that has caused the world to go silent. The rocks, however, are crying out, just as was prophesied!
The Bible was written for us but not to us. It’s important to understand the ancient context. If we don’t we make the error of many fundamentalists. If we abandon its inspiration, which is the “written for us” part, we go the way of the progressives.
the pope is so progressive he says 'atheists go to heaven' 'homosexuality is fine' 'the bible isn't an authority' 'do what thou wilt is the whole of the law'
Spot on! I believe that a correct understanding of the Deut 32 worldview provides answers to many skeptic's questions (including the question of evil) covering as it does the sovereignty of God while maintaining the autonomy of man as he makes his way through a world run by miscreant would-be gods.
Progressive Christianity is often seen as more aligned with the teachings and example of Jesus due to several key factors: Emphasis on Social Justice: Progressive Christianity places a strong emphasis on social justice issues, mirroring Jesus' concern for the marginalized, oppressed, and vulnerable in society. Jesus frequently spoke out against injustice and advocated for the poor and marginalized, embodying principles of compassion, equality, and solidarity. Progressive Christianity tends to prioritize inclusivity and acceptance of diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and identities, echoing Jesus' message of love, acceptance, and forgiveness. Jesus welcomed all people, regardless of social status, ethnicity, or religious background, and his ministry often challenged societal norms and prejudices. Progressive Christianity emphasizes the central importance of love, compassion, and empathy in both personal relationships and societal interactions. These values align closely with Jesus' teachings, as he consistently emphasized the primacy of love-love for God, love for one another, and love even for one's enemies. Progressive Christianity encourages critical engagement with traditional interpretations of scripture and religious authority, much like Jesus challenged the religious authorities of his time. Jesus frequently questioned the legalism and hypocrisy of the religious leaders, urging his followers to prioritize compassion, mercy, and justice over rigid adherence to religious rules. Many progressive Christians prioritize environmental stewardship and care for creation, recognizing humanity's responsibility to protect and preserve the natural world. This aligns with Jesus' teachings on the interconnectedness of all life and the importance of responsible stewardship of God's creation. Overall, progressive Christianity seeks to embody the spirit of Jesus' teachings by advocating for justice, inclusion, compassion, and love in both individual lives and societal structures. By aligning with these principles, progressive Christians strive to emulate the example of Jesus and participate in the ongoing work of building a more just, compassionate, and equitable world.

Which is, of course, self preservation. Our knowledge is our life, our personality, any drastic change to it is better be avoided and people generally do it.
Whatever is your position on what New Testament is really talking about, I assure you, it's different than mine. And you couldn't stand the truth, same as flatearthers can't handle the truth or people can't handle lion's roar - you'd want it out of your face. You see my friend, the God of the Bible is showing Himself to you everyday by your very existence and the creation you’ve been surrounded with.

@AMM777 the piltdown man was a fraudulent piece of evidence made by an amateur archaeologist. It isn't and never was archaeological evidence. I will tell you now the saddest thing my wife to told me . during this time in my life I could be loving, kind , compassionate but I could be mean, rotten, violent but not to my family. afew months after she was saved and joined a local church some of the preacher/ decons came to visit me . my wife answered the door and they told her they wanted to talk to me about Jesus and salvation , she said I would rather you not right now because I don’t know how he will react or what he will do. I know she ment well and I was unpredictable sometimes it was like a beast was inside me . they convenced her to let them see me. I was in the basement working they gave the plan of salvation. to be honest I really wanted them to leave. sometimes I would cuss and rare and let them have it , but this day my inside told me leave them alone. something about these people encased them and was overwhelming peace. although I didn’t get saved that day but did weals after to the glory of god . I found out what that was around these visitors it was power. some church members would try to talk to me about religion and I would make it a point to give them a hard road. but once in a while one or two would see me and I was yes ma’am, no ma’am, the thing engulfing their being and lives demanded my respect and attention. it was power, godly power. there are a lot of professing Christians who have no power . I thank god , the savior, his spirit and my wonderful wife of 42 years they never gave up on me. I close in saying thank god for saving me by his grace and the resurrection of Jesus Christ my lord and savior. nana and papa the little country preacher.
God promised restoration; he will the restore the pre fall state of creation.

“Did God really say?” Has always been the ancient question from Satan!!!
Satan has always taken his orders from his Creator and Boss, Yahweh.
@@JamesRichardWiley Wha?
Excellent! Thank you-very timely!
Problem of Evil...
God's dealing with evil, but his Love & Goodness is allowing humanity chance to come to Salvation in a better way than just condemnation of their evil.
God does not "deal" with evil. He created evil. It says so in Isaiah 45:7 ►King James Bible
"I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things."
God is Holy. God doesn't make evil, He uses evil for good and He overcomes evil. God is sovereign.

Yes very good video indeed! Saying what needs to be said. Amen

I like that comment " its not progressive its regressive" then she took it back to the beginning with first words of doubt. Everything can be traced back to the Garden.
Yes, the Garden is a fairy tale. I'm so glad you understood that.
HOW did you come to conclude that this god you've mentioned exists? Was it from an observation?

Progressive Christianity is often seen as more aligned with the teachings and example of Jesus due to several key factors:
Emphasis on Social Justice: Progressive Christianity places a strong emphasis on social justice issues, mirroring Jesus' concern for the marginalized, oppressed, and vulnerable in society.
