      I'll be honest with ya, I like that they're quiet but man do they feel/look cheap compared to Deltas/Sunons
      Plus, I personally prefer the louder Delta's/Sunon's coil whine at low rpm but hey that's just me

      If you see an AV only console with a service date from 2009-11, then it's an Elpis. Also, the GPU die will have Elpis written on it

    In theory could I straight swap an elpis gpu onto a xenon with a Y1 gpu or would I have to mess around with boot loaders?

    • @CliffNark
      @CliffNark  Месяц назад

      Yeah, an Elpis GPU works just fine with Xenons without a modified bootloader

      @@LightningCat124 I would have never guessed that's what you meant with that last comment but, an Opus is essentially a Falcon and an Elpis is Essentially a Xenon
      They have dfferent CPU heatsinks, different power ratings (Elpis 203W, Opus 175W), Elpis has 7 bigger CPU caps laid out differently to an Opus' 6 and the fact Opus was only produced in 08 whereas Elpis ran from 09/11
