Really great build. So nice to see someone do it without tens of thousands of dollars of tools and a shop bigger than my house.
Totally agree, I’ve noticed a trend on YT where there are almost to many million dollar tool shops constructing amazing stuff. Great to watch but that’s about all it;s worth. This guy makes it more approachable!
I was thinking about same thing 🤣🤣🤣🤣
the best part about millionaire youtubers, you dont have to watch their content because they dont need any more money
You did a wonderful presentation. Thank you
Good vid. Not too long, no unnecessary talking, and showed start to finish very well.
I subscribed!
It's awesome to see a woodworking video with minimal tools. For people who don't have a complete workshop full...
Yup! Keepin it simple =]
OMG Home Stuff yes, great job
SplitFeather Zephier-Net ...........Dear Friends of God......................Please research God's Time/Calendar in Genesis 1:14 before a False Sabbath law is enforced! Actions are in progress to honor a Sabbath day, “Green Sabbath”, “Laudato Si, par. 237”, etc.
Already today, there are Sunday laws written on government books.
The true Sabbath Is not Friday, Saturday, Sunday, etc. The true Sabbath is calculated by true time, Genesis 1:14.
The first week.....the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day.
The second, third and fourth week........six work days and then Sabbath day.
Genesis 1:14 is a commandment from God. God commanded us to let the lights in heaven be for days, years, etc. We are to use the sun, moon and stars to calculate our days, years, signs, seasons, Sabbaths, etc., not the Gregorian calendar or any other man-made time.
The Sabbath commandment is one of the Ten commandments listed in Exodus 20 and It is just as important as the other nine commandments. It is to be kept!
God has three category of days in the Bible, the new moon day, the six work days and the Sabbath day.
God’s months start with the new moon day, which is the first day of the month. The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. The new moon day falls anywhere and everywhere on the Gregorian calendar.
Sometimes, on the famous Gregorian calendar, the new moon day falls on the “Gregorian Seventh day Saturday Sabbath.”
How can it both be the first day of the month and the seventh day Sabbath?
This along should help a person to see that the Gregorian calendar is not true time and that the Biblical Sabbath should not be calculated by it.
The Sabbath is a sign between God and His people Israel and whosoever join themselves to them. One law is to Israel and to the stranger. Exodus 12:48,49
Also, research the "Seven Noahide Laws" and Education Day U.S.A. Do the “Seven Noahide Laws”
From my research online, these laws are Jewish laws taken from their writings, namely the Talmud. The first law in “The seven Noahide laws" forbids the worship of idols.
According to Jewish writings, the worship of Jesus, Yahushua, etc........is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation.
Will these laws be enforced on all nations???
Research the connection between the United Nations, The Presidents, President Bush, President Trump, etc. and “The Seven Noahide laws"
THESE "SEVEN NOAHIDE LAWS". SEEMS TO BE VERY DANGEROUS TO CHRISTIANS AND TO ALL MANKIND!!
Lastly, there is much talk online that the Jewish people occupying the land of Israel today are not the true Israelites and that the true Israelites are today now scattered throughout the nations, is this true?
There are also other groups of people who say that they are the true Jews.
Jesus said in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9 that someone is saying that they are Jews but are not but are the synagogue of Satan.
If Jesus warns us about a synagogue of Satan in Revelation 2:9 & 3:9, should not we be concern?
If the people residing in the land of Israel not true Israel, then who are they and what is their agenda for the world?
Who are the true Bloodline Jews?
HAVE A GOOD DAY FRIENDS OF GOD..........GLORY TO THE FATHER AND SON!

If I may ask, what made you send this comment to ME, on an unrelated woodworking video?
I am obviously, grateful for any knowledge/information that will lead me closer to Truth, & to God. And I appreciate the time it took to write this, & the risk in putting yourself out there to a stranger.
So, what is God's TRUE calendar?
How does one learn this?
I hope you know, that your comments spark interest & curiosity, & raise some questions. Especially for me anyways, as it introduces knew information. So I hope you will indulge me some questions...
If you can tell me: what started you on this search?
What was your first question?
And your second, etc.
I have learning challenges, so it might help me to follow your line of thought/research.
I will definitely look up the clues that you gave, & ponder the questions you raised. It is very intriguing. Especially in this season of plague going on around the world.

....this guy has a full shop.
your average person will have a drill, level, and maybe a circular saw
Great details! Thanks for listing the part info as well.
true DIY. Thanks for the video!
I did a faux fireplace with cedar fence planks before, as they dry, they shrink A TON, so if you have time, I recommend letting them sit for a few weeks prior to cutting or screwing so they are closer to the actual size they will stay. Awesome project!!
Man! Using a bit of wood as a prop (around the 6:30 mark) is amazing! Hats off to you bro 💪👊👌😊
Great video brother. Used this guide exactly to build mine last weekend, looks great and holds 125 lbs up without any problems so far. Keep up the content like this!
i tried to hang on mine and the roof caved in
This is really cool, and it appears to be very simple. I’m going to make this for my kitchen. It’s a small kitchen and I have more wall space than counter space. I need storage for cast iron and small appliances.
great video and well made floating shelf..
That shelf looks great!
Thank you for creating this, this information/video is very helpful for my own project!
Ty! Glad it helped!
Great Job!
Very nice build.
It's tool time with home Depot nice thank you for the tip
You Truly Deserve a far larger fan base, great video, hope alls well with you!
Solved my problem. Thanks
well done sir
That Polyphia shirt! Good stuff here man. I’ve been looking at making some floating shelves for my office. May use your support structure for it.
Nice pull up form 👍
Excellent job bro.I like your idea
Thanks!
Nice job !
Nice video and nice shelf 😊
I'm only 160lbs but my insecurities would take that shelf down
Thanks for sharing, my goal is to build these Japanese style i.e. without any screws - wish me luck!
Good job😃
New Subscriber, great info.
Nice job. I would also use washers for the lag screws.
yes, definitely use washers!
Perfect!!!!
Thank you for the video! Super helpful and economical and as a total beginner I feel fairly comfortable attempting this. I’m really excited to try this out. I’m going through the video taking notes and was wondering, are the top and bottom pieces (the 1x6s you glued together) the same length as the anchor piece (56in)? I’m hoping to make my shelf 6ft (72in) long using some 1in X 12in X 6ft pieces for the top and bottoms. Would I cut the 2x4 anchor piece 6ft (72in) or 6ft-2in (70in) in length? I think I would cut it 6ft since the front and sides of the shelf attached to the 1x12x6 would in theory fit over the anchor but I’m not sure. I hope this question makes sense. Again, totally noob here haha. Truly appreciate any insight you have. P.s I love the plant holder video as well and I’m going to knock that out after these shelves! :)
That nail gun makes the job go a little smoother.
Finally, a more realistic video for those of us who don't own millions of expensive tools.
I just bought me a circular saw and im looking to build like forreal.
cool i will try 🤩🤩🤩
I appreciate that its a strong floating shelf but I don't like the look of a thich shelf maybe I would personally reduce the thickness and that would look better for me. Would using steel dowels instead help keep the shelf strong as well as help keep the shelf slim...
What do you think about something for 350lbs? Gonna mount a cafe racer above my fireplace. Like the idea of floating if possible and not using chains or posts on the front.
I have been wrong 1 other time but I'm pretty sure that was just a "ratchet" u used. A "tork wrench" u set the pounds and it clicks when u get to that amount of tork. As for the adaptors u can get them at Harbor Freight for cheap! And if that wall was a load baring wall u compromised it by using bolts that large into the 2+4s.
Does have cut lengths? Don’t know how much cedar to buy
is it possible to build the same shelf with the same durability but only half as thick? I've seen similar videos using the same technique but they all seem to be quite thick which is not aesthetically pleasing
Which stain color?
Thank you.
What type of lag bolts did you use?
what "scews" u used to attach to the wall?
What’s the exact type of lag screw that you used? 😊 thanks in advance!
Same here need advice.
Did you also use tox screw?
Yep
Building this now what was the depth of yours
What was the measurements of this shelf LWH
Going to build this to put my frogs cage on :)
thanks for the video! love the sense of humor to get through the dry parts... work on the voice over?... MORE expression to match your personality!!! again, thanks for the info, definitely helped me with my project
Brad Nails how many inches long ??
Thats Big Pimpin
Are you still active? I love your projects!
Thanks! I'm still doing projects, but not making any videos at the moment. Maybe soon i'll make a new if something worthwhile comes up!
@@omghomestuff4286 lol, Do make more when you get the chance!
Your voice is coming through only one speaker. Have you tried using "Split to Mono" when you edit?
Did not realize that, I'll make sure to check for that next time. Thanks!
How long were the lag bolts?
it's been a while, but i believe i used a 5.5 inch lag screw because the stud i was screwing onto was a 2 x 6. just make sure your whichever lag screw you choose doesn't exceed the stud depth + ledger board depth.
NEVER use 5 1/2 imch screws in a wall, lol. 3 inch is the max you should ever use and 2 1/2 inch are almost always sufficient.
Please translate with Portuguese subtitles 🙋🏻♀️🇧🇷
Im dissapointed by the lack of predilling the screws on the 2 by 8's.... You could just see the wood split when he screwed them in...
who actually has a real anvil? I've only seen them in comics!
"I don't have a planer so I used an anvil" hahaha! what? wild.
Please don't play repetitive music like this. OMG. Loved the video.
How do you have an anvil laying around haha
Hmm considering I don't have any of those tools this would cost me quite a bit.
thats an odd looking torque wrench
Kung fu hang!
XD
good design, but the finish was not the best. You should sand it down to get all the saw marks off before you stain. Otherwise nice.
That depends... how much do you weigh? Lol
Those are Asian work shoes 😆
Much strong ??! Wtf does that mean,
Thats not a shelf thats a beam lol
Ratchet Wrench....please learn the names of simple tools when making a DIY video. Still get a thumbs up.
Except for the mind-numbing truly awful repetitive background music, a very good video. Ditch the music - not necessary!
