    These are definitely some of the best instructional motorcycle videos on YT, especially for us Honda guys. You, Sir, are an excellent teacher. In 6 1/2 minutes, I learned to bench sync after years of not getting it.

    Appreciate the content. My 83 VF 45 C, was a rescue from AZ, that has some missing parts, and was dug out of shed when I picked it up nearly 7 years ago. My children have gobbled up most of my play money for the bike, so its sat for ages. Your video for the magna 750 is making think I had better get it sorted soon. Thanks brother. Stay safe and be very well.

    Just bought one of these and this is the next project. Just watched the air fuel and rpm adjustments video. The explanations and even past experiences add value. Who cares if someone says you talk to much.

    Hi have a 1980s suzuki and it has only halogen bulbs, no led conversion at all, but for some reason the left indicator flashes way faster than the right. All I see on the internet is led relay mods or broken bulbs but all my bulbs are fine and still work years later. Any ideas? Thanks

    What's up man - I'm a Norfolk local who just bought a bike from you guys. I know the shop is going through hard times right now but short of ordering my parts from you guys I don't what else I can do. Finances are tight for everyone I guess. Maybe I'll buy some more pizza for the techs - you still working daily or have the service jobs dried up? Let me know.

      What a guy! The shop is definitely in limp mode at the moment. We are still function the best we can. Thank you so much for being a supporter of the shop. Pizza for the shop is always a surprise for us. Sometimes we never know who got it for us and it may have been you! Service jobs definitely have not dried up but we are usually a month behind by now. We went from having 4 techs full time to 2 coming out of the winter season. It’s just Dave and I swinging as hard as we can. Thanks for everything!

    Great video! Question: Where would I order a complete rebuild carburetor kit the my Honda Magna? My Carbs are identical to yours. Secondly, where can I order the jet adjusting tool?

  • @TheBlackob
    @TheBlackob 3 года назад

    From what information i gathered, you should empty the carb if you're not driving in a few month (like in the winter)
    I have not yet found a screw for that on the Magna, can you even do that without removing the carb?

    Ik this video is years old but thank you! New to this while bike thing but picked up a 97 magna w/ 30k on it. I had a bit of trouble syncing. What I found was I had the slightest bit of play in the throttle. So when I fully open them and let them smack back down. I found I can slightly move the throttle up as well. The smallest bit but enough to mess me up. Any idea why this could be? Just wear and tear maybe? I

    Great video, good instructions, but your float bowls are incorrectly installed. The drain screw should point inwards.

    I have a 99 Honda Magna 750
    It has the chrome side covers over the carburators I like to know how you remove them? I have looked in the owners manual and my factory service manual and the common manual and the is nothing there to tell me how they come off.
    Can you please help?

    I know this is a old vid but I just completed a cleaning an rebuild of a 1986 Magna Vf700C carbs. I used Paper strips ( .003 ) to get them all the same. What do you think?

  • @reioXyhi
    @reioXyhi 2 года назад

    You have good vids.....but, one thing with this one.: You have attached the bowls in a way drain screw is pointing outwards . Hondas instruction and drawings is to have the drain screws pointing inside. I have done the same way as you did, but a lot of "professional experts in Keihin carburators" say you cant do that. I have "examined" the bowl for hours and hours and the carbs and the jets and movement for the floater and I cant find any reason to have drain screw pointing inwards (for shure it will be difficult to reach the drain screws with an extra long screwdriver). Do you have an opinion in this? I assume you reassembled the carbs same way as you got them....right?

      You will need to remove the false engine covers on the front and rear cylinder sides. Once you pop those off you will see the light!

    Just picked up a 750 Magna 1100 and I am rebuilding it.. Was unused for 15 years.. I haven't had a bike in 18 years but I'm re learning.
    I am down to getting the carbs out of the bike and I can't get them out of the bike it's like they are frozen in the boots. Any tips? Trying not to break the carbs.

    Will Your video have how to attach side hoses too?

    • @TheMotorcycleMD

      The entire tear down process is shot in high def video. From removal to installation. If anything with the hoses is not strategically shot, then it can be found at the first portion of the videos during removal. 👍🏻

      Not part for part. Similar in layout but joints, parts needed, jets, routing will be different for sure.

    He re-assembled them wrong. Compare the shot at 0:46 prior to disassembly to 2:00 after he's rebuilt them. You'll see the drain screws are supposed to be facing inwards not outwards like he has them. They are going to have issues.

    • @Hairfarm1
      @Hairfarm1 8 месяцев назад

      Why are the drain screws factory installed with them pointed inwards in the first place. Are they actually accessible that way?
