I literally just spent 24 hrs scanning every dang page for pipe tip measurements when all I had to do was search "piping tips for shells" to finally see the difference in size between say a 16 and a 32. Could you help me? Does the wilton 20 and 21 and 22 differ much in pipe tip diameter? Many thanks
Your tutorials are simply the best. The color schemes you create are fabulous. You are my favorite instructor! Thank you for this very helpful tutorial.
This is such a great video. And the irony is if I didn't actually listen to your explanation i still would have thought you were going up and down, the optical illusion is wild.
You can use gel food coloring on chocolate frosting, but you won't be able to cover up the brown undertone. If you want both chocolate flavor and bright colors, I would try using just plain vanilla frosting for the colored parts, and chocolate for the main frosting. You can also try covering chocolate frosting with a really thin layer of colored frosting if you don't want to see any brown!
If you don't have any tips yet I would get the Wilton 22 piece set. It has pretty much every type of tip you need without anything extraneous. If you want to splurge go for the 55 piece set, then you'll really have everything! 😊
What other piping techniques would you like to see me go over?
I buy a cheap, store-bought buttercream when I practice. I mix the buttercream until it's fluffy and then pipe it.

These look incredibly messy. You have to pull the bag up to make a little full "wave"
