Byrd loves the bVII chord. The close of infelix ego springs to mind 😃
Love being talked through the piece. More, please!
Thank you for this musical analysis. It is so enriching, helping us hear so much more in the music. I hope there will be more videos like this.
Wonderful. It's so much fun to know why we're hearing what we do.
You didn't even give us the satisfaction of hearing the final cadence after that most glorious amen!
Extremely interesting commentary. Thank you! I, too, hope there will be more like this.
Amazing interactive video! Please give us more of this 🎉
Thank you!!😊
When you talk about the piece being in E major and with the arresting use of the flattened 7th, does that imply it is in an E myxolydian mode? On a broader note can you briefly explain what ingredients give Renaissance music like this its characteristic harmonic 'flavour'?
Из Москвы с любовью!
