- where is the justice? - NY demo
Light is played by Jeremy Jordan
CONTEXT:
Light is at school, and his teacher is talking about the law and the justice that it serves in our society. Light and all the other students then argue that laws do nothing for justice. - Видеоклипы
nobody:
me at 2am: LET THE RICH AND FAMOUS GET AWAY WITH MUUUUUURDER!!!!
And thats what the government did
Death Note: The Musical really has no right to be as good as it is.
umm ok no need to call it out🙄
LUCIFERR I FOUND YOU!!!
Light could have been the hero this society needs, sadly he said god complex time.
But I mean, his motives are right. Even the way he started to execute his plan was not that bad, but as expected, someone with that power will soon succumb to it.
I feel like it would be really hard to do what he did and not go crazy or power hungry in some capacity
I just looked at all the other comments on this, and their are right. It would be pretty hard for you to not fall into the god complex with power over life and death. He really did seem to have it all right but he fell just like everyone else would, and I pity that. I really think he started to lose it when he decided to kill an FBI Agents, innocent people, just because they got in the way. Now that really wasn't "ridding the world of injustice".
"Perhaps it's time we drain the color from it then.
Till we're back to seeing black and white, and wrong and right again."
I don't know. In my opinion, this lyric shows Light had some pretty big flaws in his ideology from the start.
Yes cause in the beginning I agreed with light when he killed criminals but he became obsessed with his power and killed innocent innocent just to keep his power and he got a God complex sadly its also understandable that if you have the choice over almost everyone's lives that he thinks he's god
exactly
This is... such a 2020 song. Like omg.
light really said acab
@@elizakd periodt 😌✨
@@elizakd he was a cop?
@@elizakd light was literally a cop.
@@elizakd ...light would call black people inherintly violent. He only cared about killing people with complete disregard to the socioeconomic conditions that put them there. He was overall very childish and idiotic when deciding what to do. He wouldn’t have said
“🥺✨ACAB✨🥺” he would have blamed victims of police brutality for doing some dumb shit like jay-walking in 2005
I didnt think the death note musical was something i needed
Teacher : *talks about justice*
Light : OBJECTION !!! *proceeds to sing a big speech*
At this point Light is literally an Ace Attorney character
Fun fact: I just lined this song up with the video of “ready as I’ll ever be” and it matched because guess what Jeremy Jordan voices varian and light in the musical
He’s right about that, “where is the justice?”
"Perhaps it's time we drain the colour of it then" I felt that line in my SOUL
Well.... he is right about that
he's absolutely correct and I love this
HE IS THO
Death note the musical. I didn’t think this was a thing. But this song is amazing. It really show other people’s point of few about how the law work I can imagine anti heros singing this
Saverio Panaccione I just watched the musical on a whim and I was pretty amazed. Great songs and everything.
(The first Japanese version on RUclips with .avi in its title)
Loving the songs.
As a victim of the system I agree with Lights points, just not his methods.
Do you have better methods then ?
@@sabineundshady5038 no I dont do you?
so true he was correct in idealogy but it never should have been carried out
looove this song, slaps so hard and lowkey makes me side with light
"We're treated all the same" says the middle aged white dude
2:02 is the ‘get away with murder’ part. You’re welcome
Thank You

Light said acab, very intensely
He would be for police brutality
He wouldn't say thst
Lights quite literally a cop
@@nyxeridanus8322 that was to hide him being kira
@@oliviabolejszo5297 no it wasn't lmao he wanted to be part of the police force forever.
This has no right being this good
We all know 2022 has gone to shit if where is the justice speaks truth now
Damn. This song is so perfect to back up my essay in 2015!
Light doled out his justice, alright.
"Just" "Ice."
Calculating. And cold.
This is awesome
Thank you so much! I love this song glad i can see the lyrics and sing along haha
this hits different after watching Death note again
this song is literally the embodiment of 2023 in Americas hellish government.
I have to say I’m not here for Death Note, I’m here for Tangled and varian
sssshhhh you don’t have to expose us Jeremy Jordan fans
@@calmdowncoulter6904 I’m here for all three
Light is my hero I just wish he um took it down a notch
THIS IS STILL AMAZING EVEN NOW IDC WHO SAYS WHAT
ugh he was actually kind of right in the beginning i just wish his solution wasn't like,, murdering people (sometimes ppl who are only suspects???? )

Does anyone know where you can watch the whole english musical, i can just find the korean version with english songs dub
they never actually did a staged version of the show outside of asia. unfortunately these recordings are the only thing to do with the musical that exist in english
@@elizakd damn :(
Where can i find this?
it's unreleased, so it's only on youtube :)
why isnt this on spotify
Honestly I don't know 😅
Did jack murphy write the lyics or did he just translate lyrics from japanese version?
But… is he wrong?
This is perfect for black lives matter
other than the fact that *spoiler* light is a murderous psychopath, i agree
@@elizakd correct, light was good in the start but he got a little too power hungry on defeating L and not doing what he was original supposed to do
