The protein I use is pretty inexpensive, but it comes in bags so they save a little on packaging, and the place I buy from buy in pretty extreme quantities, (I think it`s the most sold one over here) as well as giving discounts on bulk packages. I know I could get better protein, but for the difference, I don`t see it being worth the money. I`m just some dude who`s trying to build a little, not an athlete in any way, so I don`t see myself switching anytime soon. I buy Star Nutrition whey-80, Star Nutrition creatine monohydrate (periodically on rest days) Star Nutrition BCAA in capsules, Chained Nutrition Triple Creatine, and Chained Nutrition`s Off The Hook, apart from that it`s all good foods and hard work ;) Oh, and I don`t mind taking a little casein before bed..

Hey james, any thoughts on products like hemp protein? I'm vegan so can't eat whey as it comes from dairy so I use hemp, it contains all 20 amino acids and is about 50% protein, tastes good but costs a little more. I use it mostly to replace lost protein from eating no meat, I'd struggle to get a bodybuilders dosage of protein every day on a vegan diet, but at least I'm natural and organic.

A vegan is someone who DOES NOT use any product that comes from animals or involves animals somewhere along the line. this includes leather,suede,silk,honey,meat and yes dairy because it comes from cows If you give up meat but carry on consuming dairy products then you are a vegetarian not a vegan.
