We have the same size intex pool. Mine was off 3 inches all summer. Happy to report it lasted the whole summer no issues. I just closed it today. I will try and level it out better next season. My mistake was building up the lower side. The main thing is lowering the higher side. No matter how much you build up the lower side it will sink down due to weight, rain, runoff ect.
Nice!! Same here. I'm getting a better understanding of where I went wrong . I'm glad they hold up even if they're not perfect. I feared a disaster but it worked out just fine. Congrats on providing the family with a safe and fun summer !!
Thanks for this. We spent 2 days raking dirt to what we thought was much more level than the water proved it to be. Its been stressing me out. We'll enjoy it this year then address the ground next year. 😊
We bought the same pool and its off like 2 to 3 inches. Thanks god I came this video across as I was way too worried. Water is not very expensive (like 25€ for 4000 gallons) but if it collapses, my neighbors wont be happy 😅 Here in Spain its also freaking hot now!! So now I can enjoy with no fears 🤟
Putting mine up now, its about 6 inches unlevel and every thing i read online has me super paranoid and scared. But after watching these RUclips posts i geel much better, thank you
Hey! Yeah , I felt like that also. Couldn't sleep the first couple of days even . Thinking i was risking it all with it being so close to my house. As long as you monitor it and don't see no crazy shifting you should be fine I think . Those crazy breaking videos of pools breaking need a lot of impact. We tell the kids not to be so rough on the poles or push off of them too hard just out of precaution. I hope you have fun!! Thanks for watching !!
@@sgbabyflex turns out once full past intake hose, its a whole 7 inch slope !!! And its on sand. So the issue was or is that we had the sand level within 2-3 inches per protrol but the legs sank after filling. Youd think we would of thought about that prior..feelings so ignorant for not!! Well..its been 2 weeks...and the pool is still doing the "gasta lean" by 6 to 7 inches BUT its still standing and holding strong. My latest issue is the stupid sand !!! The water weight has slowly moved the pool like half a foot down the sloped yard. If i have any advice for you folks...when using sand do NOT put the poles in the sand (DUH !) be sure to use Pavers or only place sand INSIDE pool perimeter. We will definitely be draining soon and adding pavers under poles. Just waiting on next water bill cycle 🤣 but yeah i still swim in it everyday and its survived 2 large storms. Thax for reading.
My pool is about 4 1/2” off from one side to other….. problem is the side that has less water has the pump… so we have to fill it more so we can use the pump lol! I only have 18’x48” so a lot less water to be afraid of, & my yard slopes from the house down to the end of the property so the water would go to the alley behind my property if it did collapse. Hubby & I check the legs after getting out every time… they all look good. Gonna take it down in the fall bc we’re having a tree removed so no leaves for next summer. Thanks for reassuring me ours will be OK!!!
That's what up!! I swear some people get triggered by my off level pool. You'll know if there's a real problem . If I notice a real problem I'll take it down but so far I love it. It's hot in Texas!!
Mine is not completely full yet but we'll see & thank u for this video because I'm a stress monger perfectionist😫 and I do tend to have Karen moments on ppl for not doing thing's right 🤣🤣🤣 ENJOY YOUR POOL 🙏🌹🙏
Thank you ! And you're welcome. You're pool will be fine. I'm like you but after a while i was like imma be filling and draining all summer to get this thing perfect ...lol. We have a good time in it . We just have a deep end now. 😆
Yes it was. Never moved anything noticeable. I never adjusted the bricks or poles once it was filled. I was super paranoid and always checked the poles with a level. Didn't have to make any adjustments.
Ok. I now feel much better over my pool. It's bout..eh..3-4 squares off? But the legs are all straight n level too. I think ours is same issue as the other post? Sand was level ( my husband is in construction 40+yrs ) but #1 It must've shifted with all the rain & snow this past year and #2. I must confess. I think I screwed it up even more. My husband put up a block wall (of sorts) around it and we'd had a lot of sand leftover. So I thought I'd put it in around pool. Hide the tarps etc better? Think that was the big no no? It just bugs me that it looks tilted. But he took a laser to ours too
Ours is off. And we don’t take it down every season. It’s been fine. I think mayb some are a bit over worried about how kevel they are. Yes it’s ideal to have a perfectly level pool but in a real world that’s not gonna happen unless you can hire some ppl or get the proper equipment.
@@sgbabyflex should be soon. Where I’m at now is I have it assembled wrong. I currently can’t shut off the fountain. So currently both the return and fountain are running together. So I have to take apart and reassemble. That will be a huge pain but worth it.
Its holding up great . no issues honestly . we got a shallow end and a deep end..lol. No movement yet luckily . we swim multiple times a week and couldn't be happier . we put a beating on it . I haven't seen anything to make me want to take it down just yet . we're gonna ride this thing until the wheels fall off.
@@sgbabyflex just got it filled by this morning, one leg slightly leaning in like you showed. I’ll do the same, enjoy it until I see otherwise. Thanks for the reply
I just put ours up and made sure to compensate with blocks under legs on "deep" end.. used a level as I started filling it but when it got further up to return I noticed uh oh it was off. What has me freaked is that its bulging on one end (the deep end lol) and it looks like it might stress the legs there. Maybe draining some water out might be the ticket ? Dang Intex stress. 🥴
I know. Pretty nervous but so far no movement yet luckily. We check the legs after swimming just in case . We'll ride this baby hopefully the whole summer . We just try our best to not push off the walls .
Looks like your pool is about 4 ft deep? That would put the water weight at more than 62,000 lbs. They designed to be able to tolerate a little out of level but I think that is too much. And when that does break you are going to have 7400 gallons of water rushing toward your house
Kinda nervous myself. Luckily no shifting yet. We've been enjoying it like crazy . I keep checking the level. If I ever see any shifting I'll take it down. I hope we can at least make it through the summer . Thanks for watching .

Just take it down man, redo it one last time and make sure it’s leveled at least less than 5 inches. That way you don’t have to worry about it popping
