- Y'all I got the Dyson Hair Dryer back in February and I needed to know if I fell for the hype. Is it THAT much better than my T3 hair dryer to be worth it? So in this battle of the hair dryers, I am comparing the Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer and the T3 Featherweight Hair Dryer to help us all decide on whether dyson deserves all 400 of the dollars it asks for! Btw, the two sides of your hair look night and day. I am amazed at how much better your ends looked with Dyson!

A very great review.... have the T3 Cura, T3 Cura Luxe and now the T3 Fit. All bomb af...but I use the Froom Hot Paddle brush while using the T3 dryers which has ceramic plates and it gets my hair super smooth. All I have to do is hit my hair with a cool-shot of air afterwards and style my hair.

(Especially since I don't feel like I can justify the Dyson just yet, lol)

I love it! Definitely looks like it’s worth the hype. It’s also less expensive than my trips for a blow out or silk press every 2-4 weeks. Alsooo, way healthier than flat iron and silk press. Now to purchase and have my husband reimburse me as a gift too 😂 did you purchase directly from the website and how much was the comb attachment?
When you put it that way it’s definitely wayyy cheaper 🤣 he purchased directly from the website, I think dyson is the only place you can get the black color way. The comb attachment is $40, honestly...it’s a must have.

I have the T3 Featherweight. I bought the Dyson and took it back right away. It made my hair feel dry and crunchy. Now this new T3? BOMB! It stretches my coily ends nicely with the comb attachment (Dyson did not) and my hair feels smooth and like I still have some moisture left. I will say I tried another model of T3 years ago and didn't like it at all but this Featherweight one is different. I agree that the attachments for T3 are unnecessarily difficult to remove though.
The dyson is really worth it! It’s soo good, speedy & dries hair to the root.

Have you ever tried the ghd? How does your husband know which dryers to buy you?
Wow! I still really want the dyson. My hairdresser said it’s too hot but I’ve recently started my hair in a wash n go. My current blow dryer takes forever to dry it with the diffuser. And for when I wear it straight, I thought my revair was fast. I can’t do as large sections, so it’s still longer than your method.
You can adjust the heat on the Dyson, I don't ever use the third heat seating cause baby that's fire LOL my husband is the research KING

I have the T3 in pink. Bought the Dyson. Made my hair feel like straw. Exchanged it for the Babyliss Portofino Pro. Love it, but recently bought the Dyson Airwrap complete. Really like the blow dryer in the airwrap better than the Supersonic.

I find that the Dyson comb attachment tends to turn and swivel whenever I hit a snag in natural hair.

I know this video has been out for a while now. But would you say using the comb attachment on the t3 is comparable to the Dyson. Because that's the only thing that's making this a true comparison. No doubt the Dyson it's better. But I want your opinion. Also love this video I didn't know I needed it
Loved this review! Your hubby is awesome. I have thin curly hair that has changed in texture throughout the years (now 41) and my curls aren’t as tight or bouncy so I’ve had to blow dry my hair more often now and I never really considered the Dyson styling tools until now! Your hair looks soo sleek on that side, I may ditch my Revlon dryer brush!
So many people have told me to try the revlon brush but now I’m spoiled and don’t want to 🤣

Question, can this T3 hair dryer give you straight hair? My sister in law told me this.
My hair texture is like hers- the T3 gives me bone straight hair, no flat iron needed. She’s not chasing it with a brush or anything. But it could be straighter if she wants to skip the flat iron complétele t

I wanna purchase this so bad but the price is scaring me so much lol I only wear twists and twist outs but I like to blow dry my hair once a year and my old dryer broke so im in the market for a new one

I still use mine! I haven’t had that issue at all, but I do make sure to deep condition prior to blow drying and I don’t use it on the highest heat setting.

I think the dyson had an unfair advantage do to you using the comb attachment instead
I would’ve used a comb attachment for the T3 if they made one. I intentionally used the comb attachment because dyson intentionally targeted us when making it as an option. Plus my armssss 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

Honestly, if you used the same attachments you would end up with the same results? The comb on the dyson would control your hair texture better than the constant diffuser ( direct concentrated) on the other dryer. I think it great that you are doing a comparison, but come on be fair equals here. Exspecially with your type of hair!
I stated in the video that if the T3 offered a comb attachment I would have used that BUT they do NOT cater to my “type of hair”
What is T3??? How can you compare such a chip blow dryer to Dyson? Take something more expensive and compare
The point of the video was to see if you could save money instead of spending as much as the dyson costs.
T3 is expensive and used in many salons.
