Some here- I don't know, can you play like him?? Can you play like he did 20 years ago?? I doubt it. Lots of critics here; Zakk has already done it all from a guitarist's standpoint, and now he's doing his own thing and some of you call for him to retire?? Around you the sun does not revolve , nor are you the center of the universe. WHO exactly are you to put this man down?

I really wish EMG would stop trying to market the 81/85 set as versatile. They're far from it. They sound good for metal, REALLY GOOD, but versatile they are simply not. His crunch tones sound overly clippy and there is no sweetness in the treble at all.
Only when he rolls the volume up do those pickups come to life and really sing.
But what does Corey Taylor think of this?
