Very likely still good. Also test between SUS OUT and GND. Sometimes the ICs can fail leaky. Applying a small voltage, around 10~15V current limited, will often "smoke out" a failed IC.
Buffer chips can be still faulty even if they look immaculate and show no beeping from your ohmmeter. You need to make sure there's no double reading in both ways from so-called floating ground plus they can be defective from the inside causing various types of horizontal lines (in that case reading perfect with your meter)
Hey That bottom chip on the second board connects to chip 2 using connectors towards the edge of the board. the ones towards the chip are for the the 1st and 4th the connections to the edge of the board are for 2nd and 3rd chip..
+ubuntututorials why did you switch leads when testing the other power input? Does it matter from red to black leads testing? also where on the input do I put the tip of the needle. you have them on different spots such as the 4th tooth and 1st tooth on another. does it matter? also how many ic chips are connected to one power input? (because there are 3)
yo dumb question sorry, the connectors you're touching at 0:44, how do you disconnect them. i don't want to break them so i'm being very gentle and can't get them to come apart :D
My LG 60 inch has sound and no picture was playing the Xbox one and went completely out but I will switch back and forth to tv and too the game can hear it but can see anything

thank so much
Ok, so if the chips test fine, the buffer board is most likely in good shape, correct?

how do you disconnect the Buffer from the Y main
If no chips are bad, what are the chances that the buffer still may not be good?
