Good video as always. I live in north central Oklahoma and we started cutting wheat last week. If farming was easy there would be a lot more people doing it!!

    1) Do you have fresh dog (the brown one at the beginning)? 2) What does your tattoo say (or is it just grease on your arm)? 3) How many generations has your family been farming on that land? 4) Thanks as always for taking time to make an enjoyable video...

The brown dog is dad’s dog Roxy, he has had her for about 3 years I think. My tattoo says “love you ten” it’s a family phrase we tell eachother and our boys. The land we currently farm goes back at least 3 to 4 generations, but farming is in my heritage much further back than that. Thank you for watching!

Every now and then ya gotta rip apart that compaction.

@@WesFarms compaction will cause the roots to branch out shallow and beans and corn won't have a good stand and they miss out on the full benefits of the food that goes deep in the ground. We do no till and we found this out the hard way.

Everybody’s soil is different. We farm a lot of sand so we don’t have to worry about compaction as much.

But the USDA says everything is great 🤦‍♂️ I have a 2 box strobel tender that works just like that one. Sometimes simpler is better. Never had a problem with it
