In the old trailers, I was wondering why the guardsman was more preachy than the sister. So the most likely scenario was the sister was hallucinating.

I like to think She is either Necron mind scarab’s subtle influence, or illusion of her deas mother who used to be a guardswoman but was KIA and She never saw her again.
Personally I'm assuming she's a shard of The Deceiver playing tricks on the sister.
What's super cool about the Pariah Nexus campaign is that while initially the Necrons were crushing the Imperium (the build up to the fighting is so creepy and well done), the power of belief brought to the fighting by the Sisters of Battle effectively negated the Nexus' power over non-Necron forces.
The faith power is something I wish GW would lean into more for humanity as a whole. Essentially evolving a power naturally that is similar to the ork collective waaagh power is amazing.
Then they released the C'Tan Shard.

If you watch some interaction scene, like when the Salamander met them, it was as if she doesnt exist. Like the Salamander or the civilians gave her no attention at all

While its very obvious that the guardswoman is a hallucination, I gotta wonder why is the sister hallucinating to begin with? Just the stresses of war, or is there something larger at play that I'm missing?
The hallucination is the embodiement of her self doubt, seperate from her because she focused on her faith

There is a flashback in the last episode, were the Sister fights alongside this Guardswoman and at the end of the flashback, the Guardswomen get's impaled by a Necron.

That ominous transport is 100% loaded with weapons of mass destructuin a.k.a. Adeptus Astartes, and even better because its a Salamander chapter vessel and they are freaking awesome, chads among demigod chads of then all.
this should be a lesson for Disney and Netflix... there are so many great self contained stories within the 40k universe that it basically writes itself as long as it stays true to the already established lore...
with Henry Cavill doing his cinematic universe of Wh40k, there is hope! and he said he will abide by the source material thank god

See the armour of sisters of battle are quite iconic, making them look beautiful as they are deadly. He's glad their icomic appearance wasn't altered because someone thought it was offensive.
Isn't it enough to have a Karen of Battle, why also make the guardsman a wamen? It is getting ridiculous. I like the Salamanders but don't tell me they weren't choosen only cause they wanted to depict a black skinned space marine.
