70000 Britannia +34067Tangmere Upwey Bank DCE 12 July 2011

Water problems with Britannia meant we were 1 hour late leaving Weymouth but it was well worth it ,a spirited climb up was made with Tangmere banking .3 water stops were made including the sceduled one at Basingstoke .

Thanks for posting - the only one of 70000 +34067 on Upwey. No-one on the old road bridge by looks of it, tho' there was a crowd (incl me) for 48151 on Sat. Yours was at least twice the speed of the 8F (25ish v. 12mph) so Tangmere must have been giving a good push!

@tedgoater Cheers for taking the time to watch ,it was a good run up. 2nd week down Weymouth last time iwas down before that was 1990 with the kids .Back down in a couple of weeks ...Regards...
