The single chimney Castle was, to my mind and to many another, the most beautiful and perfectly proportioned of all steam locomotives. Oh yes, they performed well too ! Well done C B Collett on a grand design

It's so Beautiful seeing How these Train's are being looked after.. You can Just Feel the Pride..
We also had such Beautiful Trains... But we Unfortunately don't have A Government that Recognizes The Value of these Monstrous
Beauty's... They've either been vandalized or just dumped in an Area, for them to Just Rust Up.... To Most they've been a Valuable, Valuable Beauty & Stunningly Beautiful Experience....

I wish that the regular diesel service could have so much passengers accommodation!

Me encantan estos trenes. ¿Todavía funcionan con regularidad o son para excursiones? No deberían funclonar por contaminantes.

I tend to think of Kings and Castles as the more muscular brothers of Halls and Manors. There's something
about that hefty "beat" as they start away.

I do think that might have been the intention of the designers at Swindon . They were designed to pull the heavier trains on maybe more difficult terrain so just as well they were more “ muscular “.
