GA Precision USMC M40A5

My Frankenstein gun that started out as a A6 build but soon discovered my girl was a lil finicky with powder and I couldn’t quite get comfy on the chassis, so I threw the barreled action into an McMillan A4 stock and did my load development. Gear listed below.

Built a M40A3 some years ago, Remington M40 barreled action on a McMillian A3 stock. It will shoot better than I can. It will shoot a first shot cold barrel shot at 600 yds in the X ring. Pillar bedded, the build was based on Chandler Sniper Rifle. Semper Fi

Such a sweet rifle! I’ve been saving for a really nice rifle and scope setup because I really want to get into to long range precision shooting but I don’t even know where to start with choosing a setup.
