- I got a dm on Instagram from a French kid asking me to hang out for the day... We met up and this is what happened:

This is my favourite video so far I was smiling the whole time! Everything was so random lol (the boat, the magic key ??) and the day was filled with uncertainty for both of you guys (i sensed an awkwardness in the beginning) but you both just enjoyed each other's company and had an adventure-packed day in the end! It was all good vibes in this video.. french people are so kind!! It'd be great to see more videos of you interacting with french people or just more unplanned adventures 👌

Hey ! I'm from Guadeloupe, it's an French island in the Caribbeans and I was surprised of how nice the teachers were in that school , it's amazing! Here it's really more about respect and we don't get to kiss teachers even if it's the nicest teacher ever .

On peut pas leur faire la bise sauf si on devient des anciens élèves et comme la relation prof/élève disparaît et laisse juste place a une bonne entente avec quelqu'un avec qui on a passé bcp de temps. Moi je sais qu'en revoyant mes anciens prof je leur fais la bise et même une de mes professeures de français m'avait invité au macdo avec mes amis ! C'était super cool. C'est nul que vous aillez pas cette connexion là avec vos anciens enseignants

what I like so much about France is how French people are kind to each other and try to help each other, they sort of know each other and trust each other. as a French guy in the UK i can tell you tat in England people hate each other, are supsicious and paranoid, very guarded, almost everything is impossible. like u would not have been allowed to visit a school without an ID, there would be CCTV everywhere. But the same goes for everything, parking, going to the bank, driving licences, police, renting a tennis court, booking a restaurant, renting a flat, going to work... UK is all about dumb rules and being miserable. The country is atomised, and people live in small tribes and gated communities... it's a sad robotic drudge... I miss France very much

@@cgleisberg3355 I think Americans are nicer and cooler than the British (especially south English, for northern English scots and Irish are quite nice). southern English are very guarded and have a superiority complex. South England is crowded, there are too many people from all over the world coming and going, and it's all about money. Quality of life is quite poor, with rundown infrastructure and bad housing and healthcare.. It's just weird and a bit depressing... I think living in France is much more enjoyable, unless ur into making big money or want to work in avant garde industries, then UK is better

The school in the vid is College ( French middle school) Mignet in Aix en Provence's city centre, it was build in the 18th and became a school beginning of the 19th century. It is quite famous as it hosted painter Cezanne and writer Zola (they were both friends). Thanks, Max and Arnaud for the nice visit and the fond memories it brought back.
