How to Knit a Scarf Easy/Beginner

Hi guys! In this video I will show you step by step how to make this beautiful Irish Moss Knit Scarf. I designed this pattern specifically for beginners in the hopes that it will help you utilize and develop your knitting and purling skills. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and that it helps you along your knitting journey.
Materials:
- 1 skein medium worsted weight yarn. I used Hobby Lobby’s I love this yarn in the color dark olive.
- 5mm straight knitting needles
-tapestry needle and scissors
*You can use any weight yarn and any size needle that you’d like. Just make sure you cast on in multiples of 2. The number of stitches you cast on will determine the width of your scarf. I cast on 30 stitches in this tutorial but feel free to adjust as needed*

Abbreviations:
Sl1k- Slip 1 stitch knitwise
K- Knit
P- Purl
Pattern:
Row 1: sl1k, K1, P1 until 1 stitch remains. Purl the last stitch.
Row 2: sl1k, K1, P1 until 1 stitch remains. Purl the last stitch.
Row 3: sl1k, P1, K1 until 1 stitch remains. Purl the last stitch.
Row 4: sl1k, P1, K1 until 1 stitch remains. Purl the last stitch.
Repeat rows 1-4 until the scarf measures 56 inches or knit until your desired length. End on rows 2 or 4 then bind off and weave in ends.

Your pattern says no slip knit stitch on row 4 but your video shows slip?????
