Your philodendron Brazil needs humidity. I recommend a desktop humidifier right next to it. That’s what I’ve been doing to mine. In my classroom I also purchased indoor plants lights for my plants so that they don’t die. It’s also fun for my prek student to be “gardeners” and take care of the plants!

Thanks! He’s been moved back to my classroom and happier already. :)

Love that you have plants in your classroom! I have mine home for the summer, but will hopefully be putting them back in my classroom next week 😬

Thank you for this. I'm looking to add plants to my classroom this year and I need all the guidance I can get haha. I would also love to see your classroom!

I’m glad you liked it! I’d love to give you guys a classroom tour - it’s new and I’ve only been in it for one year, but I was given the opportunity to participate in its design and I love it! It’s just very cluttered right now because we’ve been moving a lot of materials around. If you’re new to plants, start with Pothos and Sansivieria (snake plant) and you’ll look like a pro even if you have low light and bad watering habits.
