What's up I'm RedFalcon and right now I'm playing Mario Party Superstars for the Nintendo Switch. I might play minigames against the Master CPUs, I might play boards against characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Rosalina, Birdo, Wario, Waluigi and more?! Is that all of them? We don't know yet! What we do know as that we can play Mario Party Superstars online on boards like Yoshi's Tropical Island, Peach's Birthday Cake, Space Land, Horror Land, and more! It's interesting because I remember Face Lift being pretty easy on the N64, especially in Mario Party 1.
If I remember correctly, it’s mainly because it tended to use extremes. This makes it so you just have to find which angle to fully pull towards. I could be wrong because I haven’t touched n64 MP in years lol

And there are notches on the joy stick so it’s easier to get the right direction
In Mario party 1 the points are always pulled to the extreme and always in a direction of one the the controller notches
RedFalcon is also not the greatest at that game haha
It kills me during facelift that he thought it was like perfect but I’m here screaming “PULL THE JAW UP” or “PUSH THE SIDES OUT MORE” because I feel like it’s just so obvious but I’m really detail-oriented

i feel like in that game it could help to have someone else watching to point out flaws bc it’s easy to miss stuff when you get too focused on one thing or another

In first mario my bro would get 100 almost every try. He's also very dexterious and an engineer now as an adult, I've also heard it was because the controller stick was was more simplified

Interestingly alot of people seem to have trouble to create a exact copy of things, this game shows this pretty well.
Great men are forged and fire it is the privilege of lesser men to light the flame.
For some of the minigames, you practically need a turbo controller to beat the master difficulty (particularly for the button mashers), also you can double press the home button to zoom in and position the screen on your quadrant in the split screen minigames to make it easier to focus on what you're doing
Button mashers against the masters are practically unwinnable. Even the absolute fastest button mashing I can do where instead of pressing A with your thumb you run your finger left and right over the button with the controller on a flat surface can't beat computers for get the lead out from mario party ds or launch break from mario party 9. I also don't recommend that method because it seems like a good way to break a controller.
face lift is crazy hard! so many of the faces looked identical to me even though they only got in the 80s or 90s
Crazy hard I'd put the wording at IMPOSSABLE to get a prefect score.

In tick tock hop i believe that being on the outside is an advantage (theoretically) since the tangential velocity at the further location is greater than the closer location because tangential velocity is directly proportional to radius. Assuming the size of your hitboxes are the same then the closer player should have the watch hand underneath their character for longer.

Even without velocity it's still an advantage. You have more time to react due to a further distance traveled before impact. There is also the issue with overjumping. With a tighter radius, you travel further towards the next obstacle while in the air than the outer person. You can see this lack of time to land and jump again when he dies. He didn't have time to react to the direction switch after he got to the point he could jump again. The only way to balance it would be to have the minute hand wider towards the tip cutting down time between obstacles and bringing the impact time to the same as the player with the smaller radius. All assuming the hitboxes are the same between characters.

Great job on getting the second mini game you played to 100 percent on the third try. Much better then I could have done it would probably take me about six to ten try's to get that one for a prefect score.

I remember the first time I perfect Mario Party 64 Facelift at the ripe old age of 8 years old. Great feeling. Haven't done it since.
It feels like they made the new version impossible to get a prefect sore on for Face Lift.
For the boat craft game, I think the fastest record comes from how fast you can mash the A button to get to top speed, and basically just don't hit things

Defiantly a major improvement over the original Crazy Cutters chain chomp.
I'm a bit of an art kid myself and watching people play Face Lift hurts me because I've tried imitating other art to a T because I wanted to make fake pokemon fan screenshots so I've gotten good with detail over the years.
TRICK FOR FACE LIFT:
Slightly tilt your head and cross your eyes so that the bowser heads line up, kinda like those spot the difference books, and line up the faces that way.
You look ridiculous and it could be slightly exhausting, but it works.
Man my favorite cutter was when my buddy went around the whole cut and did so bad he got 0 points but I went 1 cm on the line and somehow accidentally hopped off

Original Face Lift was almost impossible to get under 98-100. Bowser's face is like very squishy in this remake if that makes sense. Lol!

I think some of the fun ones to do perfect scores on would be Hot Rope Jump (same thing as Tick Tock Hop), GOOOOOOOAL!! (play as the 1 player and don't let any goals in), Booksquirm (go for a high score on endless mode), Monty's Revenge (go for a high score), and Snow Whirled (this one is really difficult, but you can get a max score on it)
