Let's take a first look and walkaround of the new Lamborghini Urus Super SUV! It's been a long time in the works but now ariving as the fastest SUV in the world, the Urus is very much styled as a Lambo, but what do you think of the Italian manufacturer broadening out from the normal range of supercars?

The exterior styling is just ok. It doesn't grab me as being striking or memorable. I wonder if it would look better if the black fender flares were body colored? Maybe. Or perhaps if the black colored flares connected with the black trim along the bottom. Anyhoooo... I think the dash layout looks pretty nice. I can't wait for Doug Demuro to get a hold of one so he can point out all of it's weird quirks and features. LOL!

It's business. Big SUVs are big money.
Everyone laughed at first when the Porsche Cayenne first appeared, but it turned at to be formidable Off-Road and brilliant on road. However, I feel the Lamborghini Uranus will not be anything buy a glorified Range Rover Evoque.
The Urus has only come about for one reason. It is so Lamborghini can make more money and put it towards R&D to improve its flagship V12 and V10 supercars.
In Aere Edificare just wait and see what happens to their models once the Urus has been selling for about a year. The first indication will be the refresh of the Huracan due next year. It costs them significantly less to produce the Urus as it is not a standalone chassis therefore the profit margin is larger. It’s common sense.

I love how many parts are directly shared with my 2017 Audi A4 haha! Virtual cockpit, most of the steering wheel and centre console buttons, seat controls. Don't get me wrong it's a beast but I definitely wouldn't call it pure Lamborghini DNA. Great video!
I’m not gonna lie if I had $500K or whatever you need to buy at least one of any Lamborghini sold at dealerships I would really consider this. Quirky yet powerful and draws attention easily, while also somewhat practical. I can’t bash this whatsoever

Actually, the 4-liter bi-turbo V8 engine of the Urus as well as the V8 engines of the Audi A8 and Bentley Benteyga were developed by Porsche at Weissach
I had high hopes when I first saw the concept Urus in 2012. Seeing it now disappointed me a bit... It looks so much like a Volkswagen product and changed a lot from the original concept. Where are those crazy looking white hexagon seats? Where is the forged carbon fiber in the interior? Where is that amazing red color that was on the concept? Where are the camera’s instead of mirrors? Such a let down for me...
I don't like the Urus... visually. The performance is there, but the front is so out of proportion and something seems out of place in this car. I know the SUV boom is real but Lamborghini shouldn't be making one. Let me know what You think. Btw. Great video Shmee :)
Great information, as always, Shmee!!! Sadly, I can see this appealing mostly to short-ish people. The coupe-like profile won't work for major people-carrying, which, let's face it, is what SUVs are about. If Tim was already that close to the headliner while in front, one can only imagine what three adults in the back would have to go through.
