Thanks for uploading. I put my Husky rack together this past Monday. Your recommendations in putting together worked perfectly. Did it by myself in 75 mins. Used a junk 2x4 and a hammer as I didn't have a mallet. Bought it at Home Depot on sale for $150.
Thanks! Wouldn’t have been able to put mine together without this video because the one I bought came with zero instructions (also missing the plastic plugs).
helpful..thank you. Once i saw the proper technique - one shelf took about 10 min. My version (72" length) has an additional cross support on the center of each shelf - tough to put these little screws in.
The frame is sturdy enough to support the weight but the wire shelves that we put down would probably not support a big tank like 50gallons. If you cut some wood cross beams and used them to support the tank it should work. There are metal beams that you can buy to make the shelves more sturdy but my Lowes didn't have any.
Good video. Another easy way is have the first frame standing and beam goes in, then connect to the second frame. Saves you from having to move or bust your back standing it up.
I just want to clarify, If the fish tanks are empty then yes this would be perfect to store them. If you plan to use this as a display shelf for some fish tanks you might want to reinforce the wire shelving with some wood planks. After rereading your question, it occurred to me you might be talking about empty tanks. If that is the case you could easily fill the entire shelf with them.
Before placing the horizontal support rails, first determine clearance distances for bins and boxes. I used nuts bolts and washers to make mine more sturdy.
I bought a 5-shelf Edsel unit and I still can't get no help. I have the first 3 shelves, but I don't know how to use the coupling to attach the other shelves. Can someone help me. Please. Nancy
Thanks Amy, this was one of the first videos we did and the editting guy was worried that it would make sense to anyone but him. How do you like your shelves?
Thank god for this video. Saved us a million screw ups. The instructions on the HUSKY sheet provided is WRONG compared to this video and confirmed since the push-pins don't line up if you do it their way. I got this done within an hour with my husbands help. It's badass once assembled. The 90x90x24 is still sold at Home Depot BUT they take 2 weeks to deliver and the likelyhood of damage is HIGH since they do not put any shrink wrap, foam protectors, or ANYTHING around the product. Call and they will send separate beams or frames if you need. That takes a week.
Is yours drilled down into the floor? I'm thinking of using one of these in my game room but I don't know if it's stable enough without drilling to the ground which I don't want to do
Hello Scotty, I had one question that would help me very much concerning this video - what is the measured inside dimension both width and length of these shelves? Thanks so much
Man you did this a lot harder than you needed to! Stand the thing up vertical and let the cross beams weight drop into the slide holes! Use a wall to lean it against on the first side frame
Edsal customer service really suck I have purchased A Edsal it came with the wrong size WIRE DECKS 24 IN I needed 30 IN . I called customer service they said they're going to send it out to me I sent email with receipt and part number and instead they send me tiei channels a whole box of them now i have to wait another week before i get the 30 IN WIRE DECKS I need. THIS SUCKS
Scottie you SAVED my life with this video because the directions were not cutting it!
Every single Scott in my life is ridiculously handy. This video just confirmed it. Thank you to all Scott’s.
Very helpful video to supplement the Edsel manufacturer's inadequate assembly instructions.
Jim Horlacher exactly my thoughts. This video is what I had to use for reference since Edsal's one sheet instructions were completely useless

I bought a Husky shelving unit. I liked watching the video because it was detailed and pretty easy to follow.
Where are the supporting beams?
thank you for all your help, it was the perfect instructional video!
Thanks! The instructions included with the shelves weren't great, but this video helped me to transform my garage today.
I got the 90x90 version! I followed your advice and did it by myself. Thanks! Because Edsel instruction are non-existent!
Thanks! Wouldn’t have been able to put mine together without this video because the one I bought came with zero instructions (also missing the plastic plugs).
Thanks. You have the only video regarding Edsel Co., although, it's a dead ringer for the Gladiator unit. Your video was very helpful.
thanks! your tip helped me to put together my shelves easy and in to time.
I never use the shelf section on the bottom. The floor works just fine and allows you to use more shelves at higher elevations.
thanks, scotty! this video was much better than the instructions that came with the shelves.
Thanks so much. This video helped me tremendously !!
Thanks! I watched your video and put two of these together no problem.
That's great! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the guide 🙏 was very helpful
Scotty!!!! Didn’t know you have a RUclips channel. Miss you, brother!

I am glad it helped. Thanks for watching.

How about plywood instead of planks ?
Before placing the horizontal support rails, first determine clearance distances for bins and boxes. I used nuts bolts and washers to make mine more sturdy.
So if my garage has a small step up, maybe 3 inches, can I adjust the legs so it isn't sloped downward? does that make sense?

Excellent. Thanks, Scotty!

Good video for install rack
Thanks for your help!
Very helpful. Thank You!
Where do i find that one? 8 foot long. I cant gind it
for uneven surfaces, what do you recommend I shim such shelves with?
very helpful, thanks
I buy 2 sets make 3 shelves (2 shelves) (2 shelves) and (3 shelves) by sharing the 4 uprights in a straight line.
Is yours drilled down into the floor? I'm thinking of using one of these in my game room but I don't know if it's stable enough without drilling to the ground which I don't want to do
Thanks wanted to see it in real life to see if it was big enough and it is.
Thanks Scotty!
Thanks Dogg!
you definitely earned your good karma for today :)
Awesome

🤔🤔🤔 just figured I should name my son Scotty and the handy skills will automatically load in his brain
Do you think it's sturdy for some fish tanks?
Great
