when the dogs are done and they get their treats and toys!!!!! i would love the weaving pols to be front camera instead of side, so we can see the dog's concentrate when they weave. WEAVING IS ALSO AWESOME!!!!!
@@pdegan2814 It’s usually a trained behavior so it’s not necessarily Border Collie specific thing. A lot of different dogs of different breeds are taught this. Heck, I personally know someone who competes with an Aussie that would tackle her at the end of their run so she taught it to jump into her arms, instead. The dog is heavy, but way better than being tackled and the dog gets put on the floor pretty quick anyway.
Border Collies tend to do really good in agility contests, so good that in some contests they even get their own category to make it fairer for the other breeds. It's because they're bred to herd large herds over vast areas of rugged terrain and long distances, essentially running cross country marathons every day their whole lives, so these agility competitions are pretty much the kind of stuff they're born to do. Verb in particular has been quite successful and has experience in these shows
Puppy power! Love the pitter patter of their feet, especially through the tunnel. Fox really needs to post all of the dogs' runs, not just the final group.
Holy cow! I don't really get how the tiny dogs are separated from the bigger dogs, that precious grey poodle was AMAZING!🐾❤🐾 Congrats to all the AWESOME DOGS & HANDLERS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@atrudokht lol I compete in this sport. It’s a trained behavior not exclusive to Border Collies. In fact, most handlers won’t have them do it and it’s not commonly cued in class. I see far more smaller dogs being taught and cued to do it. I encourage you to go to a local trial and let me know how many dogs you see doing it (and how many Border Collies vs other breeds). 🧐
The picture quality was amazing, but please save the close-ups for the instant replay. I'd love to be able to see what the handlers are doing to guide their dogs through the course.
My dog, RIP, a mix of havaneser and spitz was also extremely energetic and would've loved to do this, without any drugs. Some dogs were just born for this.
Oh wow. I just came across this video and now I know what kind of breed my dog is. Probably why he’s so intelligent and agile. He’s probably a border collie mix but looks alot like the champion
Something a lot of people not in the sport don’t know of is that for the more advanced competitions we have (AKC Agility Nationals and AKC Agility Invitational.. Westminster is just a “showy” competition), the rules on mistakes are a tad more flexible. At your usual weekend trials, at the Master level, you can’t make ANY mistakes to qualify on a run.
2021 Crufts agility had a beautiful line up!! Each of these dogs were in A Top Class!! This was by far a very competitive competition!! They were all winners❤
Yes, you probably can! Almost any dog can do agility! Westminster Kennel Club agility is just a “showy” event. It’s not our most prestigious competition in the least. 🙂
What is your favorite moment from the 2021 Masters Agility Championship?
when the dogs are done and they get their treats and toys!!!!! i would love the weaving pols to be front camera instead of side, so we can see the dog's concentrate when they weave. WEAVING IS ALSO AWESOME!!!!!
When the dog jumps into its handler's arms after the race, which the Border Collies tend to do most of the time :)

@@emberN And the weave poles are, in my opinion, the hardest obstacle and the obstacle that is the highest impact on a dog!
It’s almost always seeing Pixel. I do agility with my Mini American Shepherd, too, so I love watching dogs of his breed compete!
The sheer joy of these beautiful dogs almost brings me to tears.
Hi
I agree
The border collies make me cry, not only because I miss mine, but because they are the ones who look like they were born to do this.
Me too. I was crying in joy at the end.
My mind is still preoccupied with Lobo, the husky! 😆🐶💛
Same ahahaha
I'm only here because of Lobo!
I have to watch Lobo’s lack of a run now because it will forever be my favourite agility run
@@kerriann04 same
Lobo is the legend in this competition
I thought the Pomeranian and poodle were fast 💨 then Verb showed up. What an amazing run!
All three -- SPECTACULAR!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Geez the Pomeranian runs like speedy pokemons!
I already knew it was gonna be border collie. They are amazing most intelligent dog breed
Why Border Collie Wins Most Of The Time During The Competition?
Yes have seen Verb b4. Also Pink!!! Amazing
Hands down love seeing that bundle of pomeranian excitement explode onto the agility course
Hi
The Pomeranian is adorabley fast.
It's so fluffy, it looks like a speeding floating cloud.
Hi
Verb was so intense and focused...border collies are so intelligent...amazing animals.
gracie is one of the most beautiful dogs i’ve ever seen in my life
I SIMPLY loved Rudy the bulldog, tremendous speed and impressed by a bulldog doing what he was told, very unusual 😆
Hi
All of the pups, young and old, are SOOO excited! It's beautiful to watch. ❤
Hi
@@learnfunenjoy8616 Bruh what is up with you? You replied "Hi" on 300+ comments, wow. A new low for a simp. Jesus man. Disgusting.
All these doggos are so beautiful & precious
I see Verb a lot in the videos I'm binge watching about these agility contests. Is s/he famous in this field? S/He looks like he's born to do this.

Hi
Verb and Lark.... Love their joy and anergy!! All dogs are winners to me, but wow, those two are pure fire!
Pomerian: I've waited my whole life for this
Pomerania is amazing 🥰💯
I cried because of their cuteness oh my God
Verb made me cry... such focus and sync.
Hi
Puppy power! Love the pitter patter of their feet, especially through the tunnel. Fox really needs to post all of the dogs' runs, not just the final group.
Hi
Verb is the best and the most intelligent doggie, I have ever seen.
I'm still thinking of lobo, verb got the trophy and he earned it, but lobo won my heart!
Hi
Boss and his owner really lit up the course!
This video made me go hug my border collie. All of them are so great, so fun to watch.
border collies seem so sweet. i’ve never met one in person
This is so funny, I did the exact same thing haha.
My absolute favorite are the agility courses. Oh I just love this so joyful.
Hi
The speed the little guys go through the tunnel and the weave is staggering
Holy cow! I don't really get how the tiny dogs are separated from the bigger dogs, that precious grey poodle was AMAZING!🐾❤🐾 Congrats to all the AWESOME DOGS & HANDLERS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It looks like they're separated based on their heights. And then the jump heights are adjusted for each category of dog heights.
Hi
I remember Verb from 2 years ago! I’m a fan!!!
What beautiful performance
I think it's a thing now for a Border Collie to jump to the handler's arms
It’s just a trained behavior that’s done by handlers of many different breeds. It’s not actually most Border Collies that even do it.
@@Sandy33569 nah, border collie is the trendsetter of jumping to its master embrace

Hi
Verb is amazing 🥺❤️
What a beautiful dog….
All of them of course! 😄

Hi
This time map design is more friendly to handler than before, handlers are walking in small circle. No need to run very fast as before.
Hi
The kind of wholesome content I'm here for 👌🏻
Never thought I would see Verb again. So glad I randomly played this video ❤
Wow what do they give these dogs, so much energy. And I thought my husky was energetic!
That's what I was just thinking. I wonder if any of these people give their dogs PEDs
My dog, RIP, a mix of havaneser and spitz was also extremely energetic and would've loved to do this, without any drugs. Some dogs were just born for this.
1:57 My favorite player🐶 good job!!
These are true athletes! My GOD WHAT A JOY TO WATCH!

Aww congrats Verb!! You deserve it! ❤️❤️❤️

Last dog was amazing
Border Collie is one of the most smartest dog. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼🥰🥰🥰😘😘😘😘
@John Barber well, Parker Whitewolf did say that the Border Collie is one of the (“most”) smartes, not the shiba inu
I dont even like dogs but ive seen different levels of obedience and that was 100% under control
Very fantastic show
So basically the competitions are pretty much seeing which one is going to come in second to the border collie. :P
That border collie is so refined
What I like about this is that the humans get a workout too. This is so fun to watch.
I would die for Gracie, she is beautiful x
All the dogs were awesome
Just beautiful athletes doing what they ❤ 😍 💖
