Just love all these wheels coming out! And super fun to listen to peoples opinions and others who are completely opposite than yours with respect to the Lynx.
Lighter weight performance is why I’ve been advocating for Axial Flux motors (65% less weight in motor for similar performance). Angular momentum matters. Looks like an agile wheel. 😊
@@roghajso you're saying putting The motor inside the body with a belt or maybe on the sides instead of directly inside the motor itself? Hub motors have extreme torque because they are very low KV. If you went with a smaller outboard motor, you would need a lot more voltage and significant gear reduction. I think at some point you want the motor to have some inertia because it would be too easy to change the speed.
@@maxsinventions8913 it wouldn't be the first time it was done. A couple of wheels have used a planetary gear system. The first one I have seen was from Begode and there was also one from a Korean company called rock wheel.
This is my type of wheel. I had an Awesome time riding the Blitz at the NYC demo day. I'm not a big fan of the screen but Overall I totally Dig the Blitz.
What sort of mileage would you get out of it on a group ride... not riding over say... 35 mph 🤔 Whats it like for seated riding (does that front handle get in the way) ?
Im so ready to get my hands on a blitz. Its perfect for the kind of riding i do. The stair test makes me really excited to take it downtown as soon as i get one
love your technical videos 👌 between you and a couple of other riders, I've learnt alot about the mechanics of these wheels.. especially marty 🙌 mega thanks! firstly what is that box looking things on the wheel where the seated area is? secondly, do you have 0lans on disrupting the blitz with the new mod you mentioned for the gauge etc or just something youll mod and share with the community for personal upgrades?

I've heard your comparison to the lynx in the beginning, quick question for you Roger, as a racer, did you run the pedal lowering kit on it ? Or did you benefit from the high pedals ?
I tried the kit for one track day. I spent too much time scraping. You may be able to get away with it if you run a 90/90-14. My 80/90-14 tips the wheel too much for that kit.
Hello, if compare Blitz with Sherman L, which one will be better as a universal wheel and also which one has better acceleration from the start? Thank you, have a nice day
Hi Roger! got this wheel because of Brian and im only 1.5 months into riding. I also notice the screen being too back when riding and really hard to see. Would the new printed panels that hold the screen be weaker? of would they be able to make it with the same material and offer it to the buyers? also whats that thing on by the handle with your logo on it? Thank you!
The only downside to the new side panels for the top and display is that if they're going to be 3D printed they're going to be weak? Would be cool if Begode makes a version out of that strong plastic.
Sometimes when a battery has been sitting for a while it loses capacity and needs to have a couple cycles before it can charge with full capacity. I don't know how many miles you ran but maybe give it a couple cycles.
Didn't the kingsong s18 have that extra stupid blocker then tell people to remove it. Wrong way had that video with the toothless guys laughing his ass off..
a lot of bald claims in this video :] but emotions are not important in a review and saying " outclasses " is a joke :D first time saw this channel and most likely last time becouse begode fanboys are funny

Thank you roger. It's the videos like these that really help provide info for the consumers nxt wheel purchase!
Awesome to hear. So many great wheels to choose from. I'm excited to try this around some bigger tracks.
Thanks Roger you do it so well and with ease. Everyone is giving high praise to the Blitz including Brian 2x. 6 pac Gord

I think a non hub motor (in-runner) could end up lighter and with better control of performance. adjustable top end / torque.

The amount of clearance it has between the bottom of the pedals/shell and the ground looks great for trails
That was one of the first things I noticed as well. The ET max has battery boxes that drop below the pedals and could potentially hit the terrain.
Great review, your character and honesty shines. Cheers Olympia WA
I appreciate that!

Marty is posting that kind of info. Seems to be similar to other 2400WH wheels. You can just kill it at will if ya want.
I used ~50% of the battery on a ~40-mile city ride, 25-30 mph

Thanks Roger 😂 And, great video!
great review, looking to get one of these in new year
I didn't really mention that it is also just a great all around wheel. I take it to the post office all the time.
Thank you for the video, which tire have you use on Lynx when comparing to this one? Citygrip or? :)
Same tire.... the Pilot Street 2 80/90-14
People are so jealous of Marty . They forget that he's the only one who truly tested the cutout speed on the Blitz . He risked his life for us.....
He taught me everything I know.

How’s the acceleration compared to the Lynx? Which one do you like better?
Great vid... I'm interested as a backup to my lynx... Does removal of kickstand effect structure sir?
How many mosfets in the Blitz? I don't see it in any specs.
Nice stairs.

I think the L would be a better all around wheel.
The sicker comment killed me 😂😂😂
He mentions those stickers on every ride.
I like the RaceBox. Is it the mini or the mini s?
I have the S. Mostly use it live though. Nice to be able to record if you want to hand it to someone else and not give your phone away.

We can at least make it easier for them by completing the design first.
Please, please convince Jason to get these fitted with a tubeless knobby in future batches!
Easy task. It will happen.
Good call about the display
Credit for the remote display goes to Albert Cua
They need to give us more options for the colors of the front and seat lights.
Front lights are hard wired. Seat lights.., check Marty's video
I'm glad the lynx has competition after begode announcing/launching how many wheels?
Yeah.... the Master V4 is great... this is just better.
Sometimes when a battery has been sitting for a while it loses capacity and needs to have a couple cycles before it can charge with full capacity. I don't know how many miles you ran but maybe give it a couple cycles.
Any comparaison with the Master (V4)? On paper, they seem to be really close.
The difference in weight makes a noticeable difference. especially the weight of the motor.
How about Blitz vs Lynx off-road?
I still felt better on the Lynx. BUT it was before I took the suspension blocker out. I need to try again.
On an American electrify track this should do well, but not so much on an Euro track.
This wheel should be able to top 65 mph. I haven't done it yet though.
Mod em and we'll buy them through you!~
I'll share everything I learn.
