Brilliant video. Couple things I found during the rear install. The cuts and grinding on the rear of the wheel well, can definitely go another 1/2 inch more than the instructions say and the original bumper can also loose another 1/4 inch and be just fine. You were 100 percent correct on the need for precision on cutting the front part of the wheel well by the rear door. Great suggestion to tape off the holes before drilling. Another thing I found that helped me, is when I was trying to mark the drill holes, I held the fender in place, used clamps to pinch the bottom of the fender to the metal underneath and then I had two hands to use to mark with. Again you did a brilliant job with your video. It made the install much easier than with just the Bushwacker instructions.
Thank you.. I'm having camera issues in the brand I like hasn't released anything new in a few years I have a ton of videos I need to make and upload a lot has changed
I just want to say thank you so much for the videos!! I followed your steps as guide to installing my fender flares! Really appreciate all the details! Thanks again man! God Bless You.
My rims seem to have two different coatings on them the paint in the spoke area is not peeling or damaged but the paint in the flat outer surface area is starting to peel on two of my wheels and I'm thinking about painting them black in that spot and leaving the inside spokes silver
Wanted to see how these things fit to the Jeep before I went out and did it, and yours was the only decent videos about it. Well done. Also, about how long did it take you do to all the work? Would this be a weekend project?
It took me two weekends but I did spend a lot of time shooting the video so maybe you get it done in one weekend if you focus on the job. I would do the front the first weekend and plan for doing the rear on the 2nd weekend it's not a job you want to rush through to get the fitment right.
In these videos I had a 2 inch budget boost lift on 245/75/16 inch tires or 30s. After those videos I put on a 4 inch lift and now I have 285/75/16 which is equivalent to 33s. I'm wanting to get rid of my 16-inch rims and go to 17 with beadlocks
Good job. But you need to learn that the way you hold that grinder with the material flying up and at your face is wrong. Next time turn it over so the wheel is pulling into the material instead. The handle should have been on top
With the 2 inch lift and 245/75/16 stock gear ratio. I just put a 4 inch lift on and going up to 285/75/16 and will probably have to address that situation.
Sorry I've been super busy with other stuff which part of the bumper video do you want to see cutting the lower 3 in of the stock bumper or installing the new one? I have footage of both just haven't put them together yet.
Great job making this video! Super easy to understand
