This is a fabulous recipe! Turned out exactly how it was supposed to be. One note for people who are just beggining too bake with almond flour: do not eat more than 3 scones at once! :)) So much almond flour is too much. I learned that, but the scones are so delicious! :)
Just made these today! I am so thankful for all your recipes. The rolls, breads, and desserts are great! I couldn’t adopt this lifestyle without these foods, so Thank-you again for all your hard work figuring it out for us.
A local bakery sells scones with apricot, white chocolate, and pecans that are SOOO delicious to my mouth, it too many carbs due to wheat flour. So I looked up keto scones and these look wonderful, too. Will have to make both. 😋
WOW! I have been cooking low carb since 2015 and this is the best scones recipe I have ever come across. They look just like their high carb counterparts. I can't wait to try them!
Tried this recipe with and without blueberries, Fantastic! For the non-berry version, I added some vanilla extract to enhance the flavor.Thank you for sharing, will try your pizza and double-layer cake recipes this weekend!
Awesome recipe. Thank you for sharing. Tastes great. My son even liked them. First time baker, and it was easy for me to follow. The only thing was the conversion from grams to cups/tsp, tbsp. But I figured it out. Two thumbs up 😊
Elizabeth Aurelia , it is better to weigh the dry ingredients using a scale. I didn’t want to do this, thought is was to much trouble. You get a better product because weighing is more accurate.
Agreed, you have wonderful vids...I always look forward to them. Have frozen blueberries so will try tomorrow. Looking forward to the cheesy bacon ones coming soon!
Fantastic recipe!! I made them this evening, with fresh organic blueberries and lemon zest. They turned out great...even though I forgot to refrigerate them first! 😅 I think my hubby, the non-scone lover, will enjoy them just as much! Thank you for this wonderful treat. I've subbed and will be back to try more! 💜
Tomorrow is Saturday and I wanted to makes scones but today I saw your blueberries version. Fine! I'll do this one. Can't wait😁 I love scones so much😋Thank you for the recipe.
Its for accuracy that's why its important to weigh the ingredients. Also not all cups and spoons are the same. The measurements provided here for cups and spoons are based on US metrics
As explained in the full written recipe at the description box, this is to prevent the butter from melting and leaking out during baking while the scones are not cooked yet.

Great recipe ; we have strawberries here. I think the result will be as good as with blueberries
You’ve done it again with another yummy recipe thank you so much. ❤️😍
You're most welcome and thank you❤
Yum! Now I’m hungry.
I knew it, this will be nest. Awesome, your are the best!! 😋🇵🇷
Thank you! 😃
I definitely did something wrong ,because my came out really soft and crumbly ..taste wise really good
Oh no! Sorry I am not sure what happened. It does take some practice so hopefully you will try again.
Thanks for this recipe. Can I replace the egg yolks with buttermilk or yogurt? I don't like the flavor of eggs.
Actually, the purpose of the eggs is for binding, not moisture and it does not taste eggy at all.
Looks really good but 7 carbs each, wow.
Awesome. Can I use frozen ghee instead of butter?
Hmmm... I am not sure as I have not tried that but I think its doable. If you do try it, please let me know how it turns out thanks 😊
Can I use frozen blueberries for this recipe and fold them in while the berries are still frozen?
Oh that would introduce too much moisture to the dough. You need to defrost the blueberries and drain off excess liquid first.
Hi ,
I am wondering can I make this scone as round shape ? :) prefer the shape of original scone
Absolutely yes!
@@lowcarbrecipeideas thanks so much !! Cannot wait to try . Appreciate it ❤️❤️
Would your recipe work using coconut flour instead of almond flour? (I’m allergic to nuts.)
Sorry it doesn't work. I am still experimenting with Coconut flour so hopefully I can get the result I am looking for.
Can I use frozen blueberries
Hi, can I use frozen blueberries for this recipe?
Yes you can but the scones may be more moist. Try removing excess water after defrosted
Can I use frozen blueberries?
Yes you can but try and drain off excess liquid to prevent the scones from becoming soggy
Can I use coconut flour instead ( 1/4 the amount of the almond flour) ??
I actually have another video using coconut flour and here's the link;

I just made these today and the scones were great! But I don’t know how your glaze came out so thick; maybe I used too much lemon juice?
Yes too much liquid will make the glaze too runny. But you can fix it by adding more powdered sweetener
Has anyone tried this with an egg substitute?
Hi can i use ground almonds flour.? its not that fine
Yes i think its doable but if you can grind it to finer texture it wd be better
I wonder, are there good reasons using "grams" instead of simply 1 tsp, 2 TBsp, etc?
Its for accuracy that's why its important to weigh the ingredients. Also not all cups and spoons are the same. The measurements provided here for cups and spoons are based on US metrics
@@lowcarbrecipeideas Thank you for the answer!
Could you use full fat cream instead of egg.
The egg acts as a binder. But you could try, it may work. Do let me how it turns out thanks
Wonder why you need to chill it in the fridge for 15 min? Can you skip this step and if so will it wreck the recipe?
As explained in the full written recipe at the description box, this is to prevent the butter from melting and leaking out during baking while the scones are not cooked yet.
Thanku for this recipe, can I substitute almond flour with oat flour?
So sorry, I have no experience with oat flour. As this is a low carb / keto channel, I only use low carb flours.
My scones are in the oven. I made the lemon glaze but mine is not thick like yours. Is actually very loose 😢
Did you use powdered sweetener?
lowcarbrecipeideas yes I did
👏👏👏👏👏😋
How many carb?
Please check the description box for nutrition information thanks
👍👍👍👍👍
Can I use frozen blueberries?
Yes you can but try to drain the excess liquid to prevent the scones from becoming soggy
