Mike Hermans could sell me a pack of Ramen at a fancy restaurant and I would buy it over the Steak Wellington, his creative demos are the reason I have bought most of my pedals.
At 1:43 it gets into sort of Middle Eastern music, then ancient Mesopotamian music. Then goes into the next normal phase of music. You have really sold me on this pedal. Thank you.
It's magnificent! I had no idea whatsoever about pedals, but for sure this is a good thing! Love the sound! And the playing is awesome, too! I'm buying the v2 Greetings from Peru 🇵🇪 😃
Recently got this pedal, the only bad thing about it IMO is that the LEDs are really bright, I mean really bright; the right LED is always on, pulsating, indicating the rate setting of the effect. Other than that, this pedal is great. It can really do A LOT from providing subtle harmonics for a fuller sound to intense chorus or vibrato. Highly recommend. Slight volume boost is there but hardly noticeable. I personally love the graphic too, it fits the "chorus" theme well.
Agreed! I just got this pedal and it's great, but the LED for the rate is always blinking, even when the pedal is off. I think I might put a piece of electrical tape over it to keep me sane.
Walrus' small form factor pedals are excellent. I'm not entirely convinced by some of their larger ones, but luckily they seem to moving more in this small form factor direction. I'm looking for something to replace a rather limited EHX pedal and this might be it.
Shall I get a good univibe type of sound with a chorus pedal and a vibrato too ? About to get a pickle vibe instead of my Malekko chorus and Lovepedal tremolo ! Your point of view please
+David Ramirez A good example of a song that uses Auto Pan is Endors Toi by Tame Impala. Kevins using it on his guitar mainly in the beginning song, you hear it as a swelling/sweeping effect kind of like the guitar being amplified is being immersed in and out of water sort of
i had the diamond for about a year and wasn't very happy with it- robbed far too much top-end from my signal (something i can't stand). i got it due to the tame impala associated as i'm a big fan, but it just didn't work for my rig. went back to my trusty old vb-2. gonna' give the julia a try though as it seems to bridge the gap between chorus and vibrato while retaining tone.
+Rick C +sleighte It's a reference to an unexplained sound that occurred in 1999 in the ocean that scientists have no explanation for. Written in the video near the end
Zebulon Stevens The little webbed hand on the bottom left of the pedal looks like Creature from the Black Lagoon-ish, but maybe it's supposed to be a vampire, and it's his bat hand. Walrus has many horror themes on their pedals.
this is why im broke. I watch these videos at 5am and then i wonder why i live off ramen.
worth every penny !!!
No shit. My Reverb wish list looks like Pro Guitar Shop's effects page.
literally 4 am right now, considering selling my soul for a bunch of pedals and a guitar with some p90's..
You’re not alone guys

Yep, this is the one I'm getting.
I loved the tweaking at the end, it gives us a good idea of how far each knob changes the sound.
amazing demo that actually shows the versatility of this pedal. I just got mine last week and love it

Dark Sun Bright One do you know the name of that song
This video was a trip
That was so awesome how the end of the intro ended in a psychedelic kaleidoscope!
That rif at 2:08 is awesome. Sounds like King Crimson or something.
King Crimson and Korn love child. Korn Crimson
Not a bad setting on this one. Really glad I bought it.

This pedal sounds damn great
You have to love these tones right here

I absolutely love 1:19 it's what keeps me coming back 😊 👍🏼
I'm sold.
I ended up going with a Boss CE-W2 - They didn't have the Julia at the store :(
Can't wait to get this one on the board!
Great sounds. Sounds like you were going off on an Anouar Brahem type of thing for a minute!
This thing makes some good sounds.
we should have tab and backing track for this. I'd absolutely love to purchase it =D
That last jam is an Earthbound battle tune.
great playing
I just have to say...the drums sound great in the background. How were they recorded? Thanks!
I liked this graphic better because it looked mysterious and creepy, kinda matches the vibe of the pedal

i like the visual it looks cyberpunkish
f me, this was an amazing demo....
What's this awesome stuff at 1'40"? Crazy riff.
Woooooow, love this demo bud. Good Job (Y)
I noticed that it wasn't Andy only at the end of the video seeing the hand was holding a pick xD
+Farmiluc Haha yah its Mike. I guess he teamed up with PGS, I think a few months ago
Seasick loveliness.
Song at 3:00? Or is he just noodling around?
Wish JHS could mod a tap tempo into it, then it'd be perfect
I really can’t wait to get this
The visual is creepy, but it sounds awesome
you think so? I think all of walrus audio's visuals are incredible
Its ugly AF but sounds great
You think that's a bad thing? I love how it looks creepy.
I think it looks cool
I call it creativity 😁
please can you tell me what riff this is @ 3.00
Who's the guitarist? So many cool riffs
Mathias Thomsen Schmidt It’s Mike Hermans, check out his RUclips channel
This is the first pedal that has kind of scared me. I wish I'd never seen it. lol
I'm scared.
Yep, Julia is terrifying, get the V2 she looks hotter
@@nehemiahzo_ nah, V1 is where it's at
Shall I get a good univibe type of sound with a chorus pedal and a vibrato too ? About to get a pickle vibe instead of my Malekko chorus and Lovepedal tremolo ! Your point of view please
No univibe is a filter it does not bend pitch the way chorus does. I highly recommend the Fultone deja vibe
I never knew on dinky chorus ped could do all that. kinda puts the old boss blobb to shame. very interesting.
+Dag Blix It does vibrato also in addition to chorus, maybe that's what you're hearing
Can this work for Hendrix stuff?
Julia or Diamond Vibrato?
Diamond Vibrato has an Auto Pan feature while this doesnt, Im in the same boat as you. I probably will just get the Julia over the Diamond
+R3ALDUBB3DD3R3K what an auto pan exactly does? I still don't know what to get

gonna' give the julia a try though as it seems to bridge the gap between chorus and vibrato while retaining tone.
Who is Julia? My mother?
Pretty sure it's referencing the actress that portrayed the love interest of the creature from the black lagoon (Julia Adams).
+Rick C +sleighte It's a reference to an unexplained sound that occurred in 1999 in the ocean that scientists have no explanation for. Written in the video near the end
Rick C You can see the webbed hand of the Creature in the bottom left of the pedal.
Bro screw that, Julia lookin scary as heck, I’ll get the v2 she looks way hotter
is that julia childs? seriously scary. sounds wonderful though.
Zebulon Stevens The little webbed hand on the bottom left of the pedal looks like Creature from the Black Lagoon-ish, but maybe it's supposed to be a vampire, and it's his bat hand. Walrus has many horror themes on their pedals.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_unexplained_sounds#Julia
Sounds good but I wouldn’t want these graphics on my pedal board even if they gave these things away for free.
Where the fuck is Andy from Proguitarshop.com
This sounds great!
