    This happened to my family too! Two Italian men who use metal detectors in known WWII sites found my uncle's dog tag. They searched Facebook for the unusual name and contacted me. I affirmed it was my uncle's tag and got them in touch with my cousin. Fortunately, my uncle lived on to the age of 95, so he just lost his tags for some reason.

    That's pretty cool... and kinda crazy to think the kid found the bracelet where that man probably took his last breath. RIP

      He actually survived the war and lived until 1975 (according to headstone). Maybe he was wounded at that spot and lost it then?

      @@jonathanwright5550 Duh! Nobody said it was. It's clearly a bracelet. Many soldiers had them. Flight crews would often have them made out of a set of sterling wings.
