Wait, the History Channel still does history? Pawn Stars or no, I learned something watching this, and it only took five minutes instead of 10, and no commercials! I knew about the "Midnight Ride" and I am glad she said he wasn't the only rider, because he gets all the credit. I also knew about his engravings and some of his other metal work, but the rest was new to me. Appropriate watching for Halloween week!
Interesting though this information is. It is nothing that I had not already learned by watching the History channel for 10 minutes (Pawn Stars if you'll believe it). Paul Revere was a cool guy, but he receives far too much credit for his ride. He spent most of the night holed up in jail. Too bad really.
He did make the ride.. although he did not finish it. And he was not in jail as you suggest to anyone reading your comment. He was caught by the Red Coats this is true.... but they ultimately took his horse and made him walk alone back to Boston.
