One was your typical ACLR with BTB Patella 6 years ago and the new procedure of ACL primary repair with internal brace. First procedure was a long recovery 9-12 months and was on crutches for at least 2 weeks. Second one was 3 months ago and I was already off crutches the next day with little to no muscle loss. Night and day difference.

As your leg muscles atrophy a lot and my knee was never 👎the same.

if i have a partial tear of acl for more than 50 days now, can i undergo this surgery by cutting my remaining acl and use bear to connect it.
Apparently according to the latest research you can but you would have to get an assessment to confirm.
