I am just starting with knifemaking, and I love your workshop setup, as it looks you have very basic and not that expensive tools, like the super big and fancy belt grinders, and you are still able to make such a beautiful knife.
Paulius Jančiukas thanks I appreciate ! Well with an angle grinder, a drill, files and sandpaper, and safety gear, you can make a knife for sure This belt grinder costs me about 170 €, it works prettt nice but had to make myself a platten to make it work, but it was easy to make I'd recommend it for sure My dad is a mechanic so he had the angle grinder and the drill press before I started to make knives Learn how to use and angle grinder, do the rough grind with it, and finish/flatten/clean the bevels with the angle grinder
This is my most successful video right now, thanks a lot for ! I'd like to know what you think of the video, what do you like/dislike, so that I can improve ! Consider checking my other videos if you've liked this one !
Beautiful work my friend. I have not made a folding knife yet looked to hard to do. I may try to make one now I have seen your way. Thanks bro Anthony Kent HAWK woodlore knives UK
Anthony Kent Thanks ! It's a bit tricky at the beginning, but a great challenge if you want to push yourself a bit further in knifemaking, just give it a try and you'll see 😉
Hey ho GT I am collecting knowledge to build one of those. A lot of work in that beautiful piece. The process isn’t that hard for me even without power tools. Nice blade. Keep the great work up for us. Greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
Hey ! If you haven't made a knife before, I recommend starting with a small full tang, otherwise a friction folder is a really goor way to start making folding knives Friction folders are not too hard to make, you just need to be more precise and to really take your time in order not to remove too much material, so it's file/check/file/check.. Until it fits perfectly I have made my first friction folder almost without power tool, so it's definitely doable without Hope you'll make a great knife and thanks for the comment, cheers ! Greatings from France !
I hope you liked the video ! Here's a playlist where you'll see me make more folders : ruclips.net/p/PLDEtmXi-wKMmAcMiWvLLXAOnlDmiWgW1Y

Assez peu utile et limite beaucoup la manipulation sans apporter grand chose quand on ne fait pas de facettes :)
