  • The Art fundamentals have been an overwhelming topic to deal with, but does it have to be that hard? Not if you divide everything into really small parts
I'm going to share with you my new approach to learn the art fundamentals for character illustration, and everything starts: with the Human Head
Would you do this challenge? Tag in my socials if you do it, Ill be more than happy to see the results :D

That iPad application looks amazing! I think I'll play around with the free features for a while before pulling the trigger on the premium version. But the fact that I can easily manipulate the width and position of facial features is wild!!!

You‘re the first person who actually clearly improved drawing 100 heads! I also loved that you added creativity and didn’t just copy a reference. Really loved your results! Are you going to do form studies with shading and lighting next?

Amazing progress man. You were a talented artist before the challenge and your improvement after is very evident!
Question for you - about how long did you spend on each head? And did you set a time limit for each, or did you just go until you felt ready to move on?

Great work and the heads look really cool! An honest question though, why are you using photoshop? Do you use it also professionally? I am asking because there are great free alternatives or tools with perpetual license.

I've been using Adobe programs since years now and I like how they work together, even thou they crash sometimes 😂
But i guess the main thing is I'm too lazy to learn a new software for now 🤣
Plus I love the brushes i have now 😂

Where did you get that small skull? I've been looking for an accurate one as reference but can't find it :(

Your drawings look amazing even before learning the fundamentals. The title sounds very misleading

Thanks!!! The thing is i can already draw people and other things but I find it really hard sometimes without reference cause i don't know for now how every thing works in reality, for now, that's why i decided to start learning the fundamentals from 0
I'm curious thou why did you find the title misleading ? :3
