Thank you. This boat has already been passed along to another Texas 200 club member. I have been messing around with a hobie cat and might make some new hulls for it. Then also thinking building something large enough to do some comfortable camp cruising in. Jim Michalak design possibly.
If the bottom of the cockpit was slightly raised above the waterline, you would get a self-draining cockpit. I have a similar vessel with 15 cm Styrodura and under the bottom, going through sea waves is a pleasure.
Excellent video, Will. If I may ask, was there an option to use aluminum tube/pipe for the amas? What are your thoughts? Thank you for putting this together.
Thanks Daniel. I believe the plans called for .065 O.D. Aluminum tubing. At the time of the build I was having trouble finding any at a decent price. Finally gave up and went with wood.
You should be proud, everything looks so well-made and professional.

Too cool for school, Love watching your build videos!
It is too cool for school…but not me. Gotta go to work.

It would definitely be nice to have the cockpit self draining. Thanks for the idea.

Nice.
Thanks Michael. We’re about ready to go for this years 200
Great job Will. Could you let me know where I can purchase the plan of this boat.
Thank you. Duckworks sells the plans.
It's too bad that there is no video of a sailing trimaran
Look at my channel there’s lots of video on that boat. 2022 Texas 200

Hey Will,,,, how long was the build time? Thank you.
It took about 6 months to get it to the water. Pretty much everyday after work and the weekends.
We’re the amas cut with cnc?
No cnc cut parts on this build.
вы без эпоксидной смолы ничего не умеете делать.
Your correct. All other bonding agents are useless.
