Boss name suggestion: chreddar (sorry came home from a 13 hr work day so I really don't know if this name is good) the acid attack of the boss reminded me of spoiled cheese I ate earlier, and the way it shreds through non tank wildkins hence chreddar... My bad

I think that the boss battle seems really fun. It looks like you have a hard time fighting it when underleveled, and for me for example it would be important to run a rooster of creatures I personally like, not the ones that are best to defeat the boss. So I like that i can just get higher level than the boss and just beat it with numbers. Also i think that you could maybe improve the ui, as the creatures and landscape looks great and ui stands out umm negatively. For the boss name maybe something like "Crawler"? Or something more fancy like "Wormlix"
