when I was a kid I got my hunting start from shooting starlings with an iron sighted break barrel pellet rifle, I hit the like button before even watching the video. 👍
Thank you, brother :) It's always good to hear from a fellow-shooter.
THE LAST SHOT WAS, BY FAR, THE BEST. ... CHEERS FROM MUMBAI, INDIA.
Thank you so much, Adrian 😊 Stay safe, bud.
2:03, 2:27, 2:50, 3:14, 2:32, 3:47 Yes! Sumptuously ✌✌✌
Thank you again, Dmitriy 🙂 I'm glad you liked more than one of the shots.
Why shouldn't I love your videos??, just look at those shots, five perfect clean kills in a row,, awesome man, awesome
Thanks a mil, buddy 🙂 I really appreciate it 👍
That might be your best video yet.....so many great shots and that magpie session was EPIC!!!😮
So nice to hear from you again, Bob 😊 Thanks a mil for watching and for the comment, buddy!
Love your videos and your commentary! Keep up the good work
Thanks a ton, Daniel, I'm glad you enjoy the content 🙂🤝
Cool Alex😊😣die Katzen werden sich freuen 😊 best Wishes and stay health from Switzerland
Thank you, Urs! Yes, the cats were happy again 😊
That 5 magpie combo was pretty nice. keep up the good work and happy shooting.
Thanks, buddy 🙂🤝
4:04 This hunt is the best! The video is Oscar-worthy ...
Thanks, mate, far too kind 🙂🤝

great shooting Alex especially the long range one. I know how difficult it is to tag them beyond 100 yards. Plenty of pigeons to practice on.
Thank you, buddy, really means a lot 🤝
That is some great shooting. What range is your scope sighted in at?
Thanks, Mike 🙂 It's sighted at 50 meters, but a lot of shots are at an angle and that changes the POI and hence - the point of aim.
@@AirRifleActivities Thanks for all your great videos.
Great shooting some long shots in that wind gave you a sub . Great videos keep them coming and be safe
Thank you, Randy, and welcome to the channel 🙂 Sorry for replying so late - YT sometimes holds comments for review and I just noticed your comment. Glad you enjoyed the video, I hope you liked the rest too, and more are coming soon. Stay safe.
Your magpies are slightly different to the ones we have in the UK, brilliant video alex keep um coming mate 👍
I guess they come in different shapes and sizes across Europe, mate. But I admit I thought they were the same 🙂 Thanks, Scott 🤝
Just found your channel, great shooting on a great target rich permission, wish I had one like that!
Thank you kindly, brother. You have a sub from me 🙂 Can't wait to get home to check out your content 🤩
@@AirRifleActivities Cool, I am shortly going down the full power route (FAC licence needed in the UK) so I can extend the ranges somewhat, I also have rimfires and centerfires, but the airguns get way more use for our pest control needs! Hope you enjoy my vids, never thought they would be so popular! ;)
That was some really great shooting!!!! Keep up the good work!!!
I appreciate it, Charles, thank you 👍
Great shooting. Man that was some heavy wind at some points through the vid👍.
Indeed so, Ian, usually it's very windy here by me. Thank you, friend 🤝
That was awesome shooting getting 5 magpies in a row they just kept coming back for more.
Absolutely, mate 🙂 Thanks for the nice comment.
A Magpie Funeral. A common event.
Great footage yet again your vids are brilliant keep it up guys make me happy. Still not got my walther rm8 back yet no one seems to be able to fix it .a guy as got it at the moment fingers crossed he can do the business. I spoke with you maybe 6 months ago thanks for your reply. Stay safe and good hunting Vince from UK
Thank you for watching and taking the time to post a comment, Vince, I appreciate it 🙂 Sorry to hear you have some trouble with your gun... I hope this guy gets it sorted or you find a capable gunsmith to do the job for you 👍 I know it sucks to have problems with your guns...
Respect for the magpies 👍
Thanks, friend 🤝
when i saw alpla-male pigeon even in videos, it feel an urge or something rise up. trigger finger kinda tingling
I know the feeling, buddy 🙂 Thank you for watching and the comment. And straight shooting 🎯
First, another good one. I went last weekend and yesterday, few pigeons and 2 groundhogs last week, only 5 pigeons yesterday it was just too hot. Stay safe and keep stacking them up.
Thanks, bud 🙂 The hot weather is really not an ally. Better luck next time 👍
Awesome shooting Alex man your scope cam footage looks amazing bro I really like it great quality thanks for sharing bsafe
Thank you, Chris, although I still rush it and sometimes press "record" before I have adjusted the parallax properly. You sure give'em hell with your new Impact, too, buddy!
@@AirRifleActivities this gun as so many adjustments it's hard to settle for one ...but right now I'm shooting the fx hybrid at 975 and man they are pretty accurate not like a pellet but more like a slug they retain their energy and fly straighter and flatter so I'll stick to these for now until I run out then I'll choose another pellet or slug pretty koo gun so far I'm keeping it on 110 bar hammer wheel on max
Very good pest control! 👍
Very nice to have viewers like you, cheers! 👍
Excellent shooting & clear film footage 👍
Thank you kindly, Andrew 🙂
Excellent Shooting! Thanks for the video!
Thank you kindly for watching and the kind words, Bill 🤝
Awesome video as always! 👍
And an awesome comment, thank you, friend 🤝
Nice work on shooting and video. Appreciated the 6 in a row magpie smacking, Ive never killed more than 3 in one spot. Black birds yes but not crows or magpies. They must have been siblings is all I can think of. Recently got an Avenger in .22 and it is everything it is claimed to be and more! Cant wait to start seeing some videos with it as part of the cast! Unreal accurate.
Thank you, Bret 🙂 And I agree with you - I also thought these magpies were a family. I don't own an Avenger but I admit it looks pretty impressive on the videos I've seen so far.
Simply Nice One and keep rack plus stacking them! Cheers
Will do, friend, thank you for watching 🙂🤝
You make it look soooooooooooooo easy! It's one thing shooting vermin but it's completely different to shoot them correctly. I've yet to reach the correct method. I'd love to start taking the head shots but I'm scared of taking the pigeons beak off and it flys away to starve to death! So it's the heart & lungs target for now. You must go through a hell of a lot of pellets!
ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO, a valuable lesson in how to dispose the pigeons correctly. BIG THUMBS-UP ALL DAY LONG... take care my friend 👍😷👍
Thanks again, Andrew, so kind of you!
Heart and lung shots are perfectly fine and more efficient in many ways, so you can stick to them without worrying that you're missing something 👍
@@AirRifleActivities Thank you I'll feel more confident taking aim now you've told me that. Take care my friend 👍😷👍
Magpie killing machine. That was crazy. Great video.
Thanks, buddy 🤝 More to come soon🙂📽️
Brilliant video my friend, and 5 magpies in a row never seen that done that done before, Great shooting mate, all in all a Fantastic video, really enjoyed it, Cheers
Thanks a lot, Casper 👍 👍
That is known as a Magpie Funeral. These birds are intelligent and show empathy at the death of family members. It is, literally, like shooting all the mourners at a funeral.
Perfect shots . Nice👏👏👏
Thanks, Frederico, I appreciate it 😊
Feeding the farm cats...good job, and very nice shooting. Hey, I have to ask, in some prior comments you had mentioned about people making comments about shooting WHITE pigeons??? What’s the deal with that? If their pooping in the livestock’s food...well...they got to go...Right? Here in the USA, particularly Pennsylvania south western Pa that is...people say that it is taboo to shoot albino whitetail deer. I don’t know what that’s all about but I assure you that if it is causing me issues...it’s gone. Am I going to shoot it in deer season...honestly I don’t know what the superstitious or beliefs are all about. It has never happened to me and only have seen them with spotlights when I can not shoot and just scouting around, but White pigeons are far more common and more prone to be a pain in the butt for farmers. So...they gone! I would be more concerned about keeping my permission and the farm animals safe from disease than what others think. Maybe I would smash them and just omit the footage from the video👍. Either way...your there to do a job and help the farmer and help him protect his investments. Good for you my friend for taking out so many pests. They have to be controlled or the situation could get VERY BAD INDEED. God bless my friend. Take care and stay safe.
Thank you for the kind comment and support, Heath 👍 All this thing with the white ones started with some guys telling me that they are a symbol of peace, and other guys claiming that hawks target white ones more easily, so when I shoot them I deprive raptors of their food source 😄 All of the above is nonsense, if you ask me, and many reasonable guys like you said so in the comments section. So I thought I'd indulge both parties in this small argument and mention this in my vids form time to time 😉 But whiteys are not spared in general, as you can see.
Air Rifle Activities thank you for taking the time to help me understand. Yeah their nucking futts.😂.
@@AirRifleActivities Doves are symbol of Peace. These are Leucistic Pigeons with a white gene in their lineage.

Epic magpie carnage, nice shooting!
Thanks, Mike, it's great that you enjoyed the video 🙂🤝
Have you ever seen where the cats take the dead pigeons?
In the back, behind that warehouse. At least most of the time. Once it ate a pigeon right in front of me 🙂
Can you share what set up your using? I am currently shooting a crosman-diamondback-177 and it’s my first air rifle.
Yes, buddy, you can see a full list of my gear in the description of the video 🙂 Thank you.

Those egg thief Magpies are great shooting!
Thanks, Bobby 🙂🤝
Nice shooting, shows you how social those covids/crows are, they come round to give their condolences and join the party. Love the fact that you are shooting pellets and not slugs
Thank you, Jeremy 🙂 Slugs are more dangerous in these conditions as they retain their velocity, and hence their energy, longer than a diabolo pellet, as I'm sure you know yourself. That's why I prefer to stick to pellets, at least for now.
Great shooting Tex.
Tex? No one's called me that so far, but thanks 👍😄

Hiya bud good to see you having good luck with the magpies they are one bird near me that always seem to be in high number's so at every opportunity iv always tried to get as many as I can 16 was my best in one morning it was very odd I never seemed to be able to make a dent in the numbers that made a big enough difference to the numbers so I just tried to keep on and on shooting them it was an odd micro population of high numbers I think
Yes, friend, magpies are strong and clever birds, and they travel in packs, hence the threat to avian diversity if their numbers go out of control in some area.
Never miss a chance to get as many as I can. Usually when you get one, more come in and make a racket, which ends being their downfall 😉
Great magpie shooting 🤩
Cheers, Billy 🙂
Gooood
Cheers, bud ☺️
Love it!!!
Thank you, brother 🙂
What's the speed reduction in slo mo? The tree shot with wind was pretty amazing. And those ~100 yard shots. Wow. I think someone in your country wants you in their sniper squad. Or maybe you were and that's how you became so good.
Never been in the army, Joe 😉 But thank you kindly. It's the guns, not me - I think they outshoot me every time.
Slow mo: normally I reduce the speed down to 10-15%.
nice shooting especially the magpies.
Thank you, John 👍 Glad you enjoyed it.

What is the power (Joule / ft/lbs) these ranges and pellets require to be so effective?
My gun in this video is at about 50 fpe if memory serves (a lot of videos and with different guns, I'm starting to lose track).
How do you film in the crosshairs?
I use a scope cam mount by Side Shot, buddy. In some of my latest videos I use a night vision add-on too. Thanks for watching.
Good video as usual but they could be made a lot more interesting and relevant if you talked about the gun, caliber and ammo you are using, and the approximate velocity if you know it. Thanks!
Thank you, Kirk 🙂 You know, I did this in previous videos of mine, and I keep thinking that regular viewers would find me saying that every time boring... But you're right, I'll start saying that more often. Of course I know the muzzle velocity, buddy 🙂 Right now I'll put a list of my gear in the description. Stay safe 👍
Just found you and Yes, i´m going to buy me one, i can´t stand it any more ? See Ya Texas
LMAO I had my head phones off and send the cat in the scope and was like no way he will shoot that cat .... Great video brotha

@@AirRifleActivities yeah I no lol it looked that way with no sound for a second hahaha
Verry good 😊
Thank you, friend 😊
Excellent shooting. I can only imagine what you would accomplish if you used a bipod.
Thank you, Louis 🙂 I have bipods, but when you shoot at an upward angle at those pigeons on the silos, sometimes a bipod is a hindrance...
@@AirRifleActivities Ah. Something that had not occurred to me. Thank you.
Nice shooting sir.

Old video but you think you can try using predator polymags at this distance? Definitely wont fly as straight but would like to see what kind of damage they do to some pigeons
Hey, bud. I tested those and I have an older video comparing their accuracy with the regular diabolo shaped pellets. You're right, the Polymags are not as accurate, and what I noticed is they tend to ricochet too much, and there are many hard surfaces on that permission of mine. Also, I take shots at different distances. At close range the Polymags will get the job done, but if the next shot has to be at 80-90 meters, I wouldn't rely on those... Thank you for watching though, and for taking the time to comment 🙂🤝
@@AirRifleActivities Thanks for replying :) Ill take a look at the vid now. That's odd that they ricochet more than a domed pellet
@@AirRifleActivities Went to your channel and typed in polymag but only saw a accuracy test. . do you have a video of you shooting pigeons with it?
@@Technie87, no, buddy, accuracy test only...
@@AirRifleActivities Gotcha, well any chance you could make a video of you using them?

Your magpies are very dum! Here (Uk) if you shoot one the rest are nowhere to be seen. Also I just bought one of your cool looking T shirts
Above all, thanks for your purchase, Adrian 🙂 I appreciate the support! About the magpies - around here as soon as you shoot one of them, the rest come along and start making those alarming noises. But after I shot those 5, there were a couple left that left the scene as fast as they could 😉
Always hide the dead ones and just let one in sight as flat as possible with her wings deployed .Don’t shoot the first one who comes singing and calling the other ones . In 10 minutes , you’ll have 6 or 7 targets in front of you . Shoot , hide the dead ones and so on . I’ve killed 47 of them in 3 hours with this method .
Those magpies, shot at backbone
👍
Super duper video 💓💓💓💓💓💓💖💖💖💖
Thanks, bud🙂👍
Where is your scope sited in??? Middle cross hairs???
Paul, I use holdover and holdunder to compensate for the various distances and angles at which I shoot. I don't rotate turrets, I use the reference points of my reticle. That's why pretty often I have to aim over or under its center. I hope that's enough of an explanation??? (3 questions marks, as preferred by you 😉)
@@AirRifleActivities how many yards/meters is the center of the reticle zeroed in on?? 25 yards? Thanks
@@paullinnell 50 meters, Paul. That's 55 yards. First zero is about 17-18 meters at that velocity with that projectile.
@@AirRifleActivities thanks!!! Note your short alignment makes sense as I watch your videos!!!
is good a rifle with 7 / 7,5 joule for pidgeon or rat?
Only at close distances, buddy. No more than 30 yards, I'd say. Perhaps even closer.
@@AirRifleActivities here in italy we have a loto of laws... i just hate rats, they are dangerous... i try to scare them but they never care with ultrasound...

Are they over populating?
Their numbers explode if left unchecked. Watch some of my latest videos and you'll see what happens. Insane infestation.
Are feral cats a problem there as well? If they get over run they can be pretty devastating to the beneficial bird species in the area. Might have to start picking them off too.
Buddy, I get your point. In Australia in New Zealand for instance they are considered pests. But I'm in Europe and here they are an indigenous species so they are off limits. They are not a threat for the population of small birds or small mammals as a whole, because here they're a part of the natural food chain.
Very nice
Cheers, bud 🤝
Great shooting and as been said you are lucky to shoot two but 5in a row good shooting
Thank you kindly, sir 😊
You are welcome
What ft lb are you using are you f.a.c.shooting
Yes, Terence, FAC as per laws in the UK. In this video the gun is set to shoot 34 grain pellets at an average of 830 fps which makes for about 51-52 fpe.
Woow perfect target
Thanks, mate 👍
13:30 He didn't even understand what happened)))
Yes, Dmitriy 🙂 An odd occurrence nonetheless. Thanks for watching, buddy.
Do the pigeons often die on impact if the first shot isn't fatal?
I can't be sure, Matt, it depends on their weight, but these are rare occasions - we take into account the power setting of our guns before we take a shot at a certain distance, so that the kills are humane.
I was just wandering as the sound of the impact sounds like it would do. Great videos anyway 🤙
