Yes, nerves shutting down, Todd. That's why headshots usually make for a spectacular sight that scares anyone who doesn't have a clue of what exactly is going on. And also that's why I don't take headshots at new permissions - workers tend to assume I'm torturing the flying rats.

just wondering. looks like the pellets are going straight tru em whit quite the power. would it not be better if the pellet dumped all its power into the target? i dont know if a hollowpoint would change that. Or if you would lose accurecy. And i assume you have tested alot of bullets and overpenetration is not a problem where your shooting. Another excellent video showing class shots. Don't you use a telescopic shooting stick to help steady the rifle? But after witnessing your shots you're doing fine without one. I've lost my Telescope lens covers for my IR Hawk I would be very grateful of any advice that you could give!

The caps that came with it was only held by elastic so it was only a matter of time that I would lose them! I have searched the Internet for advice but getting conflicting report's /reviews about each one! I would be really grateful of any advice that you could give! Because after days of researching I'm now bewildered lol. Sorry again for the part message.

You can measure the diameter of your scope's objective and eye piece and order a pair. You can do the same in the AliExpress, scope caps are cheaper there, be advised that the quality is lower too.

Late comment but that is some great shooting, the Lelya makes it easier than it should be though. 😊 I regularly hit spruce cones at 73 meters with no bipod but just suporting my elbows on something. Lelya 2.0 is such an amazing Gun! 🥰 If I manage to sell some of my stuff that I do not longer use I might have to get me a Matador R5M and the long one as well to have a "complete set" 😄

Hi, Andrew, and thanks, brother 🤝 No, the max mag on my Athlon Argos is x24 and I usually shoot at no higher than x18 or x20. On some long shots I zoom out to about x12 or x14 to see more reference points on my reticle for holdover (my scopes are first focal plane).
@@AirRifleActivities Okey dokey 👍 I use a Hawke Frontier ffp & leave it on 15x mag for all my shots, have considered getting a higher mag scope for a better shot placement but i don't shoot beyond 55 yards, so i don't know if its worth me getting a higher mag scope.

No, Andrew, x15 mag is enough for shots well over 55 yards. There's nothing wrong with your style of shooting - after all this is a hobby, we do it for fun too. Obviously we help farmers too. I know what you mean by saying you don't want to risk the bird taking off - making those vids takes some preparation before each shot and sometimes the pigeons do fly off before I manage to pull the trigger... The inevitable drawback of making videos 😉

Hey, friend, and thank you for watching and the kind words 👍 My reg is set at about 135 bar right now, and the muzzle velocity with the 25-grainers is on average 262 m/s or 860 fps. The Lelya has a relatively small air tank, so the shot count from 240 bar till it falls off the reg is 30.
Air Rifle Activities i have installed a polygonal unchoked barrel in mine and huma power reg at 140bar i get 25 shots at 900fps with a much superior accuracy than the original barrel

That last pigeon died like 3 times before coming to it's last position. It would've been hilarious if a cat would've came and take it (4 times then). 😂

This is because of the camera being too close to the hammer of the gun, buddy 🙂 A common thing to hear that ping sound on a PCP.

I always thought you needed a long barrel for accuracy like that. Guess not.
Not only, buddy. There's a number of other factors too - selecting the right projectiles for your gun, the right velocity, hammer soring and regulator adjustment too.
