Damn I wish I could find an OG Komodo as cheap as this 😅 But I found a full package: An OG KOMODO with only 100 hours, Small HD monitor with Red Komodo controls, 2x 512gb Cfast cards + Cfast card reader, V-Mount plate + 2 Vmount Batteries + double charger Vmount batteries, Sdi cable, side outrigger handle and top Handle from RED, Sigma 18-35 F/1.8), for 6000€ Still a good deal, I think I’m going to get it
@@JamesMcKenzie1972 But I still can't decide between the Komodo or the FX9 to be honest. Really different cameras but I tested both and love them equally for different reasons. Because I also love to do documentaries style videos (even commercials with this style) where the FX9 shine! But I also do music videos tho, and the Komodo is great for that. Hard to choose.... And I own a FX3 + FX6 (with Sony GM Lenses). If I go with the Komodo, I sell everything and buy a second hand R5C to replace my FX3, and if I go with the FX9, I will only sell my FX6 to replace it by the FX9 (because I prefer the image quality, it's more organic, less digital than the FX6).
@@JS_Leger yeah that’s definitely a tough decision. The Komodo would definitely shine on the music vids but for most of your other jobs the FX9 may be the better choice. For me I have the FX30 which is great for the corporate type shoots and basically am replacing my Blackmagic Pocket 4K with the Komodo. I think adding the Komodo to your stable with the FX3 and FX6 would give you more versatility to take on different types of projects with more specialized tools for each style. In the end I think you can produce great work with all of these cameras so it’s hard to make a bad choice.😀
At that price, I would have bought one too. They are still $5 or $6k around here.
Yeah it was hard to pass up! I’ve been watching prices for the last couple of years.

Yeah that’s a great package! If you consider all the components you’re getting it’s a pretty great deal.
