As I'm very interested in these "horse bow"ish bows and thinking about buying one, could you make a video about your favourite beginner/ low budget bows?
Very pretty bow, think I might have to add it to the list of bows I wanna get. Could be the next bow depending on if I don't find a good Native American bow. Great review. You sold me on it.
So that's what was used to impale my ancient Greek ancestors. Well ,precocious lot just like their descendants, probably brought it on themselves if I know my people and their history. Hope you get and stay well,Armin.
Hello sir i accidentaly found your channel. Iam not bow guy, but i like your vids anyway. I realy like sounds of kids playing somewhere around, reminds me when i was a kid and we had kindergarten nearby. Have a nice day.
Btw Nagy is pronouced more like just in german style Nad, but D is softened. I guess this kind of sounds is not present in german orbenglish. So quite hard to describe. Google translator can give you very good result of proper pronounciation. Nagy is Hungarian word.
Thanks for the review Armin, hope you're feeling better. The profile of the bow at full draw is a very appealing shape too. Mr Nagy's going to be busy! 🙂
I never see these types of bows come shipped with a flemish twist bowstring. Why is this? What would you think of a horsebow/eatern bow that comes standard with a flemish twist string?
Hello Armin thank's for the video🙏😊🙏 Just a question does the siyahs increase the vibration of a bow? the higher the draw weight the higher the vibration with siyahs? Bows with siyahs are they always thougher than others traditional shapes? Bravo to Nagy the bow maker so beautifull bows 👍😊 Richard lionheart😎🇫🇷
when they are overly heavy, they can create some hand shock. when the mass of the siyahs stays the same, the higher the draw weight, less hand shock should be
Hello Sir Could you please do or reply with top 3 budget bows and corresponding arrows👍 My children, all three if them, want to become archers because of your videos👍 Thank you😎
Hi Armin, first of all a big fan of ur videos, keep up the good work. Would u recommend this bow to a beginner like me with all the vibration that u said the bow has? I own a cheap bamboo long bow but I am looking for a well built bow to improve my skills. Will this bow serve that purpose? Thanks
Would the Persian bow’s of the Achaemenid period be more akin to the Assyrian design? From surviving Persian iconography and Greek pottery it would seem that ancient Persian bows when strung sloped in one large arc rather than the two arcs seen in this later bow design. Thoughts?
Now you even used a German expression so are you german or do u just know it? Since i started watching your videos i always thorught u are probably german but im still not sure ':D
Once it was strung I was struck. Soooo beautiful. I love the color, the sears and then the curves into the handle are perfection. I actually thought it would be slower on speed, but, I was wrong. It really is a nice piece. Thank you for sharing the experience. Now I get to drool and sacrifice to the gods of raffles and lottery... dammit, I forgot to get a tarp. Can't leave evidence around for those snoopy butthead investigators. I mean sheesh... they keep coming by with their warrants, badges, and incessant love of my coffee. Can't they just go bother McDonald's owners? And what's a few children missing when everyone is furiously having sex so they can have a moment's escape from our world's reality. I mean, its almost like I'm providing a public service !
Wow that is a beautiful bow, i love the shape and the esthetics of it, i might have to save up for a while to buy one myself, would love to hold one.
Hi Armin, you look better. Hope you are feeling better too. Thank you for continuing presentation while recovering.

Just received my Long Hungarian Bow from Imre Nagy, thank you for all your reviews and tutorials.
Dear Mr. Armin, what is the difference between Persian bow design and Tatar bow design, in terms of shape, handle and siyah?
Just got this bow. Looks great and shoots well.
Looks like a Weapon of War!
Great Evaluation Armi
Just ordered a Long Hungarian bow from Nagy. He said about 4 months or so to complete. Can’t wait to get it.
how long did it take him ?

Super presentation, super video; I confirm, I use the same type of arc for years as happiness!
So that's what was used to impale my ancient Greek ancestors. Well ,precocious lot just like their descendants, probably brought it on themselves if I know my people and their history. Hope you get and stay well,Armin.

how is it that you shoot off the bare thumb, and don't seem to get 'fletch bite'.., where the feather cuts or buries under the skin..??
noch the arrow a bit higher, then you will have no problem. I did a video about that I think it was Nocking point on a Horsebow
Hi, I have a question, how many types of traditional bows do we have in the world? I think we have a kind of bow for every nation in the world
Thanks for the review Armin, hope you're feeling better. The profile of the bow at full draw is a very appealing shape too. Mr Nagy's going to be busy! 🙂
I have ordered this bow. Armin Have you tested a Saluki bow? I have his Saracen and Hybrid Turkish.

Beautiful bow...:)👌👌👌
Nice review!
Not a bow for me (vibrations, little hand shocks, arrow pass to bulky) but really cool design.

Richard
What is the draw weight on this beautiful bow?
My Nagy is on its way to me, really looking forward to this. Thanks for the suggestion, btw.
You got any comments about the bow, am considering to buy it
do the arrows are with the bow ?
Still waiting for my bows by Nagy, hopefully they'll arrive this week!
Got any comments about it? Considering to buy it
What a gorgeous bow.
Good looking bow! Thank you
How do you handle customs or tax?
Customs writes to me in case there is no invoice attached, we clarify that, then they send me their payment note
Hello Sir
Could you please do or reply with top 3 budget bows and corresponding arrows👍 My children, all three if them, want to become archers because of your videos👍
Thank you😎
What can I do with that “f-value”
That’s for me
Such a beautiful bow
Do you have a discord or anything like that? It would be nice to have that community response and discussions about arrows, targets, bows, etc...
no
Another fun review. But I must ask does Malta have a cat problem?
hahaha not really, just many stray cats
Is it meant to be priced at 38,000 dollars?
hungarian currency
Appreciate This review :-) and the bow is appealing too

Yes it's a good one. I am just picky with vibration :)
I am a persian.this bow has utilized 700years ago.parthian and sassanid bows were different that.
Would the Persian bow’s of the Achaemenid period be more akin to the Assyrian design?

Thoughts?
Can someone give me a brief explanation of what the values represent ex. F value
max draw divided through length of bow from nock to nock. I simply make shit up, but it is a useful info for me.
when you give order of the bow the company pay the tax on bow or you pay the tax on bow
outside EU you might have to pay taxes
I see a lot of Americans here confused by the price :D Much like me with the grains. Am I doing my calculations right? 550 grain would be 35 grams?
I think the bow builder fixed his website. And one can simply ask if one is confused :D
35 g are 540 grain
When Armin runs the outtakes... tha's when you see the monk inside.
my yuan bow, from Alibowshoots the same if not better,I don't think my bow vibrates that much
Where can i get an arab bow?
What defines Arab bow for you?
@@ArminHirmer a bow that was used during the Rashidun, umayyed, or abbasid caliphate.
Or a bow that was used historically in the arabian peninsula.
Big Fan of " Soo" !
The way you said "so" ... Are you german?
THANK YOU
love that bow
Now you even used a German expression so are you german or do u just know it? Since i started watching your videos i always thorught u are probably german but im still not sure ':D
Or 38 dollars?
150 dollares
very tasty quality and price
HOW I CAN BE Patrons? NICE REVIEW
here: www.patreon.com/arminhirmer
50 + # 160 fps...I wonder why is it slower than its peers?
I think its due to the Siyah's having so much mass.
You are probably right...look up Mr. Hirmer's review of the Assyrian bow
Sweet!!
Fred Penner has a Log entrance to this range, doesn't he? ;)
No idea what you are talking about
"Interpretation", maybe you should have used that term from day one and that guy couldn't of complained about you calling the boss any certain type.

nice job Bro. You keep lost persian culture and archery in live.
Thank you
