It's truly remarkable how Handsome Gary Cooper was as a young man. Comparable to a young Tyrone Power in his youth. His acting was so understated that his genius was lost in a sea of ease. As one onlooker stated, "If you saw him perform a scene it looked like the worst thing ever done. Then you see it on film and it's magic." Or words to that effect. His performances in "Pride of the Yankees" and "Sergeant York" are Cinematic Master Works. Gary Cooper never "Over Acted" a scene in his life. Understatement and subtlety were his master traits. Few, if any Actors ever mastered the doctrine of "Less is More" better than Gary Cooper. An unsurpassed Genius of that slowly dying art form.

Quizá solo he visto un 20% de su filmografía y me tiene más que enganchada 🤭 para mí fue un flechazo cuando ví por primera vez una de sus fotos sin saber nada de él, ahora es mi inspiración. A pesar de haber tenido tan buenos y memorables títulos pienso que "peleó más de lo necesario", no sé si fué orgullo, amor al cine, la angustia a contrareloj contra el cáncer o todo eso (de solo pensarlo se me hace un nudo en la garganta) sea como fuere, esa honestidad sigue traspasando décadas, seguimos muy muy orgullosos de ti Coop...🥲🫂
