    This guy made this look shockingly easy: seemingly broad measurements, etc. But the outcome is astounding. And I learned a lot. So thanks!

    When you are welding the 4 tubes together. Do your welds meet in the middle/top where they all come together? Seems like it would be tough to get your tungsten down in there (huge stick out). Also do you have to do any fusion welds on the inside or do your outside welds penetrate well?

    • @LANCETHEGASS
      @LANCETHEGASS  2 месяца назад +1

      If you watch me fusing the inside, I only weld enough to overlap the later weld on the outside, and yes the outer weld penetrates through so there is no need to fully weld them into the middle, hope all that makes sense 😃

    • @LANCETHEGASS
      @LANCETHEGASS  3 месяца назад +3

      Thanks for the comment, if you look closely at the jig, it is fixed at 45 degrees, and so I just lay the bend flat on the base of the jig for the first cut. I have many different jig's for different type's of collector but I thought this one would be the simplest way of showing it in a video. 🤘👍

    wish I had your welding skills!!!, but a tiny bit unsatisfying because I'm having a hard time visualizing how the tubes come together on the inside (just how it is that all the tubes edges meet so it can be air-tight), and how they are welded, but you never showed that, you showed welding on the inside that was completely obscured from view and never any before and after shots of the inside.
