There you will find “idea lists” for all of the products that I’ve reviewed or purchased from Amazon, to include different budget planners and even the filming equipment I’ve used and currently use.
Additionally, you can click on the link to purchase any item through Amazon which will reroute you to my Amazon shop. Ordering through my shop doesn’t help you any (lol), but it allows me to earn a commission as an influencer - much like other affiliate links.

I love this! I pray that neither of you have to deal with this anytime soon, but I’m sure it was a very eye opening experience for both of you.
It was definitely interesting! 😅
Nice video, years ago when we purchased our home, we purchased on my income alone, I needed to know that I could afford my home should I ever end up single. Of corse my income has grown now, but still I take precautions when planning big purchases etc.
The way my heart sank when I read the title. I should've known it was just you being ahead of the game. 💯
This was a good exercise! It has always been my motto that any expense I am taking on I have to be able to afford it by myself 😊. Love the topics you cover. I love watching your growth with you and your hubby’s finances. Keep doing what you are both doing.
I really enjoyed how you broke this down. I love your monthly budget videos because I can always learn from them. Great information
Thats the best way to look at life. See whay you could manage alone . So yoi dont stray too far if something happens you can be ok to scale back. Some people go crazy if they have to scale back
Thanks for sharing. This was a neat exercise
This exercise is great piece of mind no matter how secure your relationship. I always ensure I only live up to means I’d be able to afford if I were alone & have just in case money should I need to start over completely from scratch
Good idea. Guess it would depend at what stage of life you and your friends were at in how your budget changes.
Yes, they are a lot of different factors to take into consideration. I wouldn’t even live in Georgia if I were not married. I mean I’d obviously have a completely different life but in answering the question of if I could live a comfortable life on just the salary that I have currently, the answer would be yes assuming that I still have my exact expenses (minus my husbands portion) 😅
$100 for gas! In CA my husband and I budget 700 a month in gas. 😮
I know right!! Mine is $500😅
Thank you for sharing!❤
The way my heart dropped when I read that title. Lol 😅 it’s a good exercise though.
💜
I'm sorry, but I think its a tad disingenuous to think you can halve your monthly spending if alone - while your husband's car gas would not be required, a household needs a certain amount spent on food and cleaners - a second person is just a bit more meat and veg. The basic household running costs still have to be met - that's why countries do not double old age pensions between a single person and a couple.
What? 🥴
@@ShayBudgets One person can not live half as cheaply as two.
Ok
