    Thanks for the video! A local car store wanted to charge me $240 for parts and labor! I was able to do it myself for $90 in about 15 minutes. I routed the headphone jack into the center console for my install. Thanks Again!!!

    Just did my 2005 Honda Accord
    Took 30 min . My plug was in the back of my hea; not on the bottom so, it takes a little patience to plug in the adapter. Ordered item from enfig with standard shipping and received it in 3 days. Sounds great.
    PS. Make sure you follow instructions after install and turn off vehicle and remove key for 10 sec...radio will not recognize port until you do that.(panicked for a min)

    • @Enfig
      @Enfig  4 года назад

      Sometimes you do have to cycle the key to get the unit to work. On XM equipped cars its in the same location but faces towards the rear. It is a little trickier but not that bad.

    This saved my hr and a half commute! I hate my fm transmitter crap. Just installed and put everything back in 20min at most. Hella easy!
    For the price too, this the ish. Right on Enfig!
    Oh and if anyone finds this useful
    I installed it on a 2005 Honda Accord Ex Coupe. 👍👌👍

    Great how to. Did this step by step and it worked flawlessly. Only real problem I had was taking out the xm radio wires, they were really stuck in there. Saved me $80 doing it myself.

    Instructions were easy to follow, and it's pretty simple to do too. I now have an excellent rectangle sending music to my car stereo.

    Anyone thinking of ordering items and doing this themselves, shouldn't be a struggle! Quite easy actually. Works perfect and sounds great. Don't forget to order the RCA cable!!! Link is not included in their bio.

    Thanks for posting this! I managed to retrieve a credit card that I had lost when it slid above the door of the lower pocket. I didn't even need a panel popper - my fingers were able to do most and a screw driver worked for some.

    The blitzsafe is just an aux. This is an aux plus iPod adapter with charging and control from the radio. This also includes the RCA to headphone jack cable. The HON03-IPDCAUX will work with all 2003-2007 Accords and newer ones also.

    i bought one after watching this video, and just installed it minutes ago. this guide was tons of help! 15 minute max install. there is an opening to run the audio wire through the left side of the center console near the driver side foot-well area. i'm sure lots of others would prefer this method and it saves a lot of time! you guys should definitely let people know about that. i also thought it was easier to tuck the box UNDER that metal bar under the storage box, then pull the cords through

    This was an excellent video. It all came apart exactly as they showed. Good tips too on getting things apart without breaking anything. I'm always afraid to pull or pry too hard if I don't know for sure that is how it comes apart so having that knowledge beforehand was valuable. I didn't have a pry tool like the one in the video so I made one out of a plastic scraper. Thanks for such a great how-to video. That is what caused me to buy your product. Oh yeah, it arrived at my house in two days too

    Thanks for the video guys, I just installed "USA Spec PA15-HON2" which I got. I pulled it all apart just like you guys said in the video and its all working smoothly. It was a bit of a hassle to make the hole in the compartment for me since I could not find the right drill bit =/

    @kural90 Yes it does not disturb the factory controls but this unit offers no control of your device.

  • @Enfig

    @challobeta If you unplug the radio you will need a code. This install does not require you to disconnect the radio.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  12 лет назад

    Using a 30 pin you get line level out. If you use the headphone jack you just have to adjust the volume to match. And using aux volume can be controled on both iPad and car.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  13 лет назад

    @sarsshadow Correct This device uses a port designed for a trunk mounted CD changer and tricks the car into opening the audio lines of that port.

    @rustamkaitov I dont see why not. I still have not seen this radio.As long as it has controls for an external CD changer it will work.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  12 лет назад

    Its a different adapter. This is just an AUX.Look at the description for our blog page that shows all of your options.

  • @JeanPaulUS
    @JeanPaulUS 11 лет назад

    Yes it will.
    Just make sure you have an "AUX" button on your radio and you will be good to go

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  14 лет назад

    @titanz05 No problems. I usually put it to the back right.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    RCA cable is not included because there is no reason to raise the price since most people already have that cable. The Enfig HON03-IPDC-AUX will do iPod and aux and also control from the radio.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    For an aux you do not need an adapter. But for an iPod cable apple sells an adapter.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    The dealership can give you a hard time if something happens to the radio but all you have to do at that point is take out the harness before you take the car in. In the 10 years I have been selling interfaces I have never had a dealership void a warranty.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  13 лет назад

    @Nightstrife911 You can avoid drilling a hole by running the cable down by under the glove box.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  14 лет назад

    @MikeE856 It is the same item. But for the navigation radio the radio must be removed. We have another video coming soon that shows how to do this.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  14 лет назад

    @wilfre0305 Yes this adapter is a T harness that allows you to keep XM and/or navigation if your car is equipped.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  14 лет назад

    @sparklkinz The navigation radio has the plug on the back but it can't be reached from the bottom. We have a new video on the way that shows how to take it out.

    I like your carbon fiber panels!

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  12 лет назад

    It's the safest way to do it but as long as you don't splice a wire by mistake it's not necessary.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  12 лет назад

    This is an AUX adapter. Since it does not charge it doesn't matter. We do sell iPod adapters that charge and control the iPad. Contact us for more details.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  12 лет назад

    The labor is Currently $50 and the part is currently $69.99. The RCA cable is currently $2.99 We are in Carlstadt NJ and we do not do mobile installations.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  13 лет назад

    @pasckymix yes it works with ALL 2003-2007 Accords And 2008+ also

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    Sounds like you got the R version made for the Honda Odyssey. That wire is a needed modification for the Odyssey with video for the back seat passengers. While it will work it has the unnecessary wire and costs more money.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  14 лет назад

    @BuhRanDuhn I'm pretty sure you can just route it over without drilling a hole. I'll check on the next car and report back.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    If you want a unit that charges the Enfig HON03-IPDC-AUX charges and controls your iPod from the radio.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    There have never been any audio Issues with this unit. There was a recognition isuue a few years back but that has been fixed for a while and all of our stock at enfigcarstereo is new.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  12 лет назад

    It works with all 2003-2007 accords. There is a rare CD changer that replaced the pocket under the radio. That is the only time its not compatible.

  • @Enfig
    @Enfig  11 лет назад

    I would put them at about the same quality we sell BlitzSafe because they are priced less.. The new unit has the option to add Bluetooth and iPod with control if you want to add it down the road so we pay more for it. We like BlitzSafe but they have not shipped us a Honda interface in about a month. And they haven't had iPod cables for any of their interfaces in longer than that. I'm not sure whats going on there but we can run our business with supply issues like that.

    This will work with every 2003-2007 accord in the united states. It will also work with accords in other countries as long as they have the same shape radio. It doesn't matter if it has the single CD radio or the in dash 6 Disc radio or the Navigation radio.
