We would call that a 'tripping cutting edge', at least on a truck's snow plow system. This would then allow the whole blade to still carry the snow load while the sprung edge passes over the obstruction and goes back into position to continue cutting and plowing. This is how I've seen these edges work.
Snow blowers break down much more often, they are more expensive, and much slower, they are mainly used to open up logging roads that hasn't been plowed at all the entire winter, and for places with a lot of snowfall, when the roads starts go get too narrow, and the snowbanks are too large/solid to be pushed further out with a plow. Or in narrow places where there simply isn't any room to push the snow to the side, sorry for responding to a 2 year old comment, haha
Very nice Tractor! Looks like it does a nice clean job on your road. Thank you for sharing
I like that cutting edge he has on his main plow. It seems like it's cutting the hard pack snow easily.
Olofsfors p300 heter stålen
Ikr, looks like its springed too
Yes they are springed. If you run on stone. (or how you say it in english?)

Love your videos, but aren’t there any recovery vehicles working? Keep up the great work
Thanks! I have one recovery video comming up, but my computer crashed so I am waiting for it to be repaired. :)
Where did you buy your back plow?
I build my own plows...
Snow blowing instead?

Too cold
