Took this video for our caving group to reference as we had been looking for this cave for a while. It was found in the 90s but hadn't been relocated since then.
The reported entrances were clearly filled up with debris and dirt so it was impossible to locate. I had found a small hole which was blowing air in the approximate location of the old cave. The dirt was soft so it was easy to dig through and make my way into the cave.
We'll need to go back and explore it as I only looked around in the entry way area.

Thank you. Yeah I didn't show the mess of trees this was in. There's down to timber everywhere and we just had no idea. Finding that hole was a bit of luck.
Next time I need to go explore and see if it's a big cave. This area has the 2 longest piping caves in the world. This is a piping cave. It supports Waterflow.

Found a couple small ones this week (Gulf Islands BC) .. One full of old deer bones, think there were 6 full skeletons. . guessin it was a cougar den at some point.
That is crazy! You have a lot of nice limestone there in BC. Definitely could be a cat den.
When we find dear bones here it's because they fall in the caves and die. At least the cold caves near my house. Out in the desert there are some cat dens and they will pile up bones.

Surprised no critters live there, looks like a lovely home for some thing.
Caves are always creepy and could provide shelter for some animals except in our area everything's too cold. So the caves are usually critter free. Except for bugs. And it wasn't many of them in here either.
